EP63: Haunted Italy: Aqua Tofana e Il Mostro di Via Bagnera

P63: Aqua Tofana e Il Mostro di Via Bagnera: This week Tim and Luis head to Italy for a double dose of dark history. First up: Aqua Tofana, the near-undetectable poison invented by Giulia Tofana in 17th century Rome, sold to desperate women looking to escape violent marriages, and blamed for hundreds of deaths across Sicily, Naples, and Rome. Then it’s on to 19th century Milan, where Antonio Boggia, considered Italy’s first serial killer, lured victims into a warehouse on the narrowest street in the city and buried them beneath the floor. Poison, an ax, and a street that still supposedly holds a ghost. Buon ascolto. Follow us for upcoming episodes & other spooky stories on INSTAGRAM ! #57: Demonic Chickens of the World

Demonic Chickens of the World  This week on the Itty Bitty Horror Podcast, Luis and Tim discuss one of the most important questions of our time...are demonic chickens the most underrated entities in the world? From Colombia’s Pollo Maligno, a relentless spirit that stalks travelers with bad vices in the night, to Hungary’s nightmare-inducing Lidérc, and Vietnam’s soul-hunting Thần Trùng, this episode explores how something as ordinary as a chicken has been reimagined across cultures as a vessel for something far more sinister. But the horror doesn’t stop with folklore. We also unravel the eerie legend of a ghostly, half-plucked chicken haunting London’s Pond Square (possibly tied to the bizarre final experiment of Sir Francis Bacon himself!) Then, in a chilling listener-submitted story, a quiet farm in Ohio becomes the stage for something unexplainable lurking inside a locked chicken coop… something that doesn’t just cluck...it speaks!  ------ Don't forget to leave us a 5-star review and follow us on social media!  Follow us for upcoming episodes & other spooky stories on INSTAGRAM !
