Ep 2039: Be the Answer to the Foster Care Crisis
This second show on getting involved in foster care (check out the first
show too) is so practical and inspiring! It challenges workplace believers
and retirees alike to flip the foster care system on its head – in a good
way. About 90% of foster parents quit within 2 years due to the
overwhelming challenges. But you and your church can be the reason these
families choose to keep fostering. -
Ep 2038: Make Each Day Sacred
Enjoy another “mic flip” where Jim and Martha are the ones being
interviewed!
This time they chat with South African Faith & Work enthusiast Bill Hollis.
This conversation is chocked full of wisdom and emphasizes that God has
equipped individuals with specific gifts and talents to fulfill their roles
in the workplace, no matter where they are or what they do. -
Ep 2037: Our Collective Call to Care
Get a high-level overview of fostering with Jim & Martha Brangenberg. They
are joined by Cindy King, Equipping Director at the Keystone Family
Alliance in Pennsylvania. Since the government is not great at parenting,
it's imperative that the Church steps up to care for the widows and
orphans, as expressed many times in God’s Word. Listen and pray about how
you can get involved in fostering or supporting foster families. -
Ep 2036: An Identity Reevaluation
In this episode of iWork4Him, Jim and Martha Brangenberg shake things up by
tossing out the idea that work and ministry are separate worlds. Nope,
they're all about bringing faith right into the 9-to-5 grind! You’ll hear
about why it’s so important to have a correct view of your identity as a
believer on assignment, living with Jesus at the center in every part of
your life. -
Ep 2035: Taking Church Outside the Walls
In this episode of the iWork4Him Podcast, hosts Jim and Martha Brangenberg
are joined by John Wilson, a former country music promoter, who unveils his
personal journey from wanting nothing to do with Christianity to becoming
the visionary force behind Light the Way Ministry. This organization takes
the Church to people who might never step foot into a sanctuary through
music festivals and now their September tent revival in Springfield,
Missouri. -
Ep 2034: Putting Theory into Practice
Never doubt that God has a plan! This is what guest Lisa van den Berg
learned over the last several years as she journeyed from South Africa to
England to California and finally landed in Austin, Texas. Lisa reflects on
her initial hesitations about Christianity, but a powerful encounter
changed everything and made her realize that she could have a relationship
with God and have ambitions.
Customer Reviews
a place where work and faith joyfully collide!
Jim and Martha host the iWork4Him podcast with authenticity and joy. The conversations they have with their guests always show off the fact that God is both holy and practical, and He is present in all areas of our lives—including the workplace. I enjoy their sense of humor and the variety of guests they have on. Always come away encouraged and inspired to live out my faith at work and in all the spaces in between.
Amazing guest testimonies
I am so blessed to have a front row seat to each and every guest that is on iWork4Him. May we continue to help transform the workplace of every christian into a mission field.
Easy listening but with purpose
iWork4Him is a laid back show that is easy to listen to but also brings powerful messages. I have significantly changed my perspective on many things just due to various episodes.
It will encourage you to be more intentional about your faith at work and ultimately challenge you to be better at the roles you hold.
I definitely recommend giving it a listen!
