Hot dang, it's another installment of Jam Sandwich, babies! We've gotsa real juicy one for youse guys today. In the world of podcasting there's dream guests and then there's Josh Androsky. What can I say, I love to butter this beautiful man up! I've known this sweet prince for several years now and whenever our paths cross both laughs and consensual kisses are shared. He wanted to listen to Brian Eno's 1973 masterpiece Here Come The Warm Jets and I couldn't have been more on board. Surprisingly enough, we manage to stay pretty much on topic for a majority of the episode, aside from getting off track almost immediately. It does end up turning into a discussion of "great morning songs" towards the end. I also talk about my wife's gazungas. Look, I could go on and on but just know that Josh is one of my spiritual brothers and our energies are synced up which makes for great conversation. Dig in!  For more Josh goodness, follow him on twitter and instagram at @shutupandrosky. If you're in LA and would like to get involved with DSA Los Angeles (of which Josh is a co-chair) follow them on twitter at @DSA_LosAngeles, gather some more information and make change happen.  If you enjoyed this episode and would like additional servings of Jam Sandwiches, go find the buffet of pleasure I've laid around the web at these various locations: jamsandwichpodcast.com || manontop69.com || Twitter: @jamsandwichpod || Instagram: @jamsandwichpodcast

Well shoot, Joe McAdam makes a quick return to the Palace of Sin for another hot steamy Jam Sandwich. This episode was recorded on May 18th, which also happened to be the same day Chris Cornell of Soundgarden passed away. Joe suggested we listen to Badmotorfinger to memorialize the fallen singer, but if I'm being perfectly honest I was never really much of a Soundgarden fan and I didn't wanna have the episode come off as a half assed eulogy. Instead I decided we should start with Gregg Allman's I'm No Angel and we give Gregg some lite ribbing. Then that dude had to go and die before I could release this episode, thusly completely going against my original intentions. Oy vey! Furthermore, the formatting is a little different on this one. It was done in a bit of a rush, so we don't focus on a full album or even singular artist. We play a bunch of random songs that we thought of in the moment, so you get a bunch of little insights on a whole slew of artists. It's kind of similar to our old show Revolutions Per Minute, so you get a taste of the past. Put a napkin in your collar and dig in!! Farout & Coolzey || JS056

Today's episode is a real doozey. Our old friend Farout returns to airwaves, bringing along with him his tourmate of the moment, Coolzey. We recorded this bad bish a while ago, but you're just getting it now because thats the way things go. My sincere apologies to Farout and Coolzey for not being timely. Coolzey specifically plugs a bunch of shows for the end of April, so thats fun to hear in June.  As a new guest, Coolzey was given the reigns on what we'd be jammin' and to my delight he picked the Butthole Surfers. We discuss the history of the band and what made them such freaks. (Hint: drugs played a heavy role.) At this point the Goldschläger and weed were really flowing, so to keep things going we play everything from Britney Spears to the Angry Samoans. The conversation gets loose and butt stuff inevitably comes up, natch. Good fun! I guess that's it. Oh yeah, subscribe to the show why don'tcha? If you use the podcast app on your iphone, give the show a 5 star review cause it makes me feel good on the inside. Thank you for being a friend. Hey lickers, I'm back! Sorry for the vacation; had a get little getaway. Just kidding, I got an HBO GO password from my parents, so I finally got to see The Wire. Now, 45 days later, the show has returned. I'm stoked to help reinstate the show with a fresh guest that I've wanted on since the beginning, Joe McAdam. Joe and I used to do a different podcast, Revolutions Per Minute, which was pretty similar to this one, until he moved out west. Mr. McAdam was in town for a brief spell and we squeezed in this recording at 2 AM, just a few hours before I had to drive him to the airport so he could return home to his beautiful wife. Spoiler alert: we're drunk and / or stoned. Since I love my sweet, dear friend, I let him pick the album we'd dig into this go around. He went with one of his favorites, Touchdown by Bob James. I was surprised to find I already knew his music way more than I'd anticipated. It legitimately caught me off guard, which you can hear from the first few notes. Anyway, it's good fun and it captures the vibe I seek to spread. Dig it! I mention that Joe is a Butt man, so go check out Butt on their youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1RAfouK5SOTiz1v7U8OpCQ Subscribe to Joe's analog twitter feed, which is delivered to you via snail mail, here: https://www.patreon.com/joemcadam Last, and in the case actually the least, get more Jam Sandwiches at these various world wide web locations: jamsandwichpodcast.com || manontop69.com || Twitter: @jamsandwichpod || Instagram: @jamsandwichpodcast
