Fun fact, scientists have figured out our carbon budget, which is essentially the amount of co2 we can put into the air before we explode. But the main issue is that our carbon budget is 1,000 giga tons of co2. However, the proven reserves of fossil fuel companies are 3,000 gigatons. Which means two thirds have carbon HAS TO STAY IN THE GROUND. This means writing off 21 trillion dollars in assets. Rip
