    Expectations

    Have you heard the saying, expectations are the recipe for disappointment? It is so often the case. In addition, expectations are built into us as humans and so many of us have strong emotional reactions when things don't go as we expect them to go and people fail to show up for us as we expect.     Emotional Clarity

    It is said that emotions are like the weather, tough to predict; one day bright and sunny, another day there's a strong storm front moving through so batten down the hatches. Weather has patterns and so do emotions. If you pay attention, over time, this patterning in one's emotionality appears.     Karma

    Karma means several things depending on your beliefs but conceptually we can agree on karma being a result or a cause of a choice. What we do today affects our future and some even believe our past and future lives. "Good" deeds produce good results, while the "bad" deeds lead to suffering.
