Enlightenment is one of the most misunderstood words in spirituality.It is often described as bliss, peace, or a special experience. Enlightenment is a permanent here-ness. It is the permanent absence of identification with the mind. Thoughts, emotions and experiences still appear, but they are no longer taken to be “me”.This is not a state you achieve and not something the mind can practice. For many, it is confronting rather than comforting, because it doesn’t fulfil the search, it ends it. This video is for those who are tired of concepts, spiritual promises and chasing experiences, and want clarity about what the word enlightenment is actually pointing to.
