The best fitness & weight training podcast

Joe DeFranco combines the best of both worlds: decades of reading and absorbing the best textbooks and research studies, together with decades of hands-on experience coaching thousands of athletes. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of how to train to get bigger, stronger and faster. I’ve been weight training since the 70s and I’ve tried to learn as much as I could over the years, and I still learn something new from this podcast every week. In addition, Joe has the “gift of gab” - he’s a natural on the microphone, and a great teacher. The show ends every week when Joe runs out of time, not when he runs out of things to say. He’s an entertaining talker with deep knowledge of training techniques, programming, nutrition, workout recovery, injury prevention, etc etc. You could probably tell him he has 15 minutes to prepare a surprise weekend-long seminar on training, and he would knock it out of the park (and still not run out of things to say). He’s like an endless stream of knowledge, and he’s giving it away for free on this podcast.

Joe D is the epitome of over delivering

I’ve listened to ALOT of people in the fitness industry and no one has the high level expertise blended with the ‘in the trenches’ practical knowledge like Joe D does. If I was on a deserted island and could have 1 fitness coach it would easily be Joe D. The best coaches are humble and they remain life long learners which is exactly what Joe D exemplifies.

More impressive than his world class fitness knowledge, is the fact he built a successful business from the ground up back when it wasn’t sexy all while being a devoted family man and instilling great values into his everyday life.

You’ve impacted my personal coaching career and fitness journey more than I could describe. Keep being great and adding to the Hall of Fame legacy that you already have built.

Essential Fitness Podcast for Everyone

So, let me give you a little bit of a scenario of what my life is all about. First off, I used to be 35 years old. I was divorced. And I lived in a van down by the river. You're gonna be doing alot of doobie rolling when you're living in a van down by the river! Now you kids are probably saying to yourselves, "Hey Matt, how can we get back on the right track?" Well I'm here to tell you that you're probably going to find out, as you go out there, that you're not going to amount to jack squat! And the answer is you need to listen to Joe Defranco’s Industrial Strength Podcast. Since I started listening I now lift and move better, and train smarter. Also, my wife came back with the kids, I got a good job, and my penis grew 3 inches. (Results may vary).
