Joe on Joe Illustrated: G.I. Joe in 3-D #3
Let's go back into the third dimension with #3 of the Blackthorne series! A fun tale with everyone's least favorite Cobra... Crystal Ball messing with everyone's least favorite G.I. Joe... Psyche Out!
It's a real pick your poison but very well done with great 3D effects, artwork, and a cover by a very young Patrick Zircher!
Have The Movies and a Meal Podcast covered any 3D movies? Obviously they did Avatar, but I mean like old school ones, like The Blob? Check out their podcast feed to find out! -
Joe on Joe Illustrated: Celebrating Mark "Doc" Bright
It's with a sad heart, but joyous soul that I bring you this podcast. This week we lost one of my personal favorite G.I. Joe artists of all time, Mark "Doc" Bright. The man who first illustrated Snake Eyes' messed up face! He had such an impact on that era of comics, which was my formative years, that I wanted to dedicate this special episode to say goodbye to someone who I never met, but whose work meant so much to me.
Please join me for a retrospective and celebration of the work of M.D. Bright on this week's episode of Joe on Joe Illustrated. -
Operation: Sick Day!
Feeling sick this week, so instead you should listen to one of these great G.I. Joe Podcasts instead!
And make sure you give our sponsors, The Movies and a Meal Podcast a shout too!

Such a fun show
What a great podcast. Even when Joe is alone on the show you feel like you are doing it with him.
If you don’t know GI Joe is is still presented in a way you can jump on board.
Recently found the podcast and now I am going through old episodes and it has been a fun journey through the world of GI Joe.
Great conversations
Really enjoy the interviews and the journey through childhood.
This is more like a “Interview Joe Fans” podcast
So a common feature with this podcast is its variety of cohost… some of whom are fans of the cartoon, comics and/or toy line. That’s pretty neat. But then, instead of sticking to reviewing the episodes they are watching, the host goes on tangents interviewing the guests. That’s fine, but maybe do that first and then dedicated the rest of the podcast to the featured content.
And also, many of us like to get away from the madness of day to day news, immersing ourselves in cartoons. Peppering these casts with real world politics … no thanks!
