    🎵 Why Don’t You Listen To Your Preacher? 🎵 Verse 1 You say the world’s gone crazy, upside down and wild, Gas is high, your boss won’t smile, your teenager’s runnin’ wild. You’re lookin’ for a breakthrough, searchin’ for a sign, But you slept through half the sermon — snored at least four times. Pre-Chorus He told you, “Love your neighbor,” You said, “That’s hard to do.” He said, “Forgive your enemies,” You said, “Well… maybe two.” Chorus Why don’t you listen to your preacher? He’s been preachin’ that Good News. You shout “Amen!” on Sunday, Then Monday sing the blues. You want a blessing double-feature, But you won’t do what the Good Book says. Why don’t you listen to your preacher? He’s already told you what to do instead! Verse 2 You’re prayin’ for a miracle, a mansion and a boat, But you won’t tithe a dollar — just clear your throat and gloat. You want peace like a river, joy like a song, But you’re scrollin’ through your problems on your phone all day long. Pre-Chorus He said, “Guard your heart now,” You said, “I’m doin’ fine.” But your temper’s like a soda That somebody shook up nine times. Chorus Why don’t you listen to your preacher? He’s been preachin’ that Good News. You shout “Hallelujah!” Sunday, Then Tuesday blow a fuse. You want favor like Elijah, Fire fallin’ from the sky — Why don’t you listen to your preacher? He’s been tellin’ you the reason why! Bridge (Call & Response style) He said, “Pray without ceasin’!” (You said, “After this game!”) He said, “Walk in forgiveness!” (You said, “They’re the ones to blame!”) He said, “Trust in the Lord!” (You said, “I’ll Google it first!”) No wonder why your blessings Feel stuck in reverse! Final Chorus  Why don’t you listen to your preacher? He ain’t makin’ this stuff up! It’s red letters in your Bible, Not a motivational cup. You want revival in your spirit, Want Heaven to come down quicker — Why don’t you listen to your preacher… Instead of just the chicken at the church pot-liquor!
