John, Thanks for putting this out. Love the Jam Band conversation. I feel like going to see a jam band is like going to see a live sporting event how you never know what’s going to happen. There are people that will travel to see their favorite football or baseball or hockey team and fans of the Jam Bands will do the same. I remember going up to Mike Gordon after he played at The Trubadour one night and saying man, I’ve got a wife and 3-kids and can’t travel as much right now, but would pay if you could stream the shows on tv live. He was a bit intrigued. We talked for a few more minutes about it and low and behold like 4-months later they started couch tour. Couch touring, how many other types of music would you catch anyone streaming an entire tour? Maybe a night or two, but because of the changes us jam band fans will pay to watch an entire tour (hopefully at a reasonable price). But it’s the vibe of feeling like you’re their watching with your friends from all around the country/world and chatting about the same song in the same moment as if you are there together. It’s great. Thanks again for putting this podcast together. We were at your guys last show 3/13/2020 and we’ll see you when you’re back at the Wayfare next week 6/28/2020. Super PUMPED!!!!!! Chuck
