#67 Emmy Award winning Lexi Ainsworth-"Fall in Love with your Future more than the Comfort of your Past"

Send us Fan Mail What happens when the path to your biggest dream requires you to step into absolute uncertainty?  In this powerful and deeply moving episode, I sit down with Emmy Award-winning actress and founder of Camden Way Productions, Lexi Ainsworth. From starting as a driven child actor at just 11 years old to navigating the high-pressure world of a 510-episode TV series, Lexi’s journey is a masterclass in resilience, grit, and unwavering dedication.  But behind the glitz of Hollywood contracts lay a parallel story that anyone chasing a dream will recognize:  The Weight of Sacrifice: Navigating the intense guilt and pressure of family sacrifices made to support her passion. Confronting the Hidden Hurdles: Managing lifelong ADHD, navigating learning differences, and facing sudden, intense panic attacks when pivoting into new chapters. Surviving the Rejections: Weathering the inevitable dry spells, sudden industry shifts, and a painful five-year relationship breakup that brought her pillars crashing down all at once. Lexi opens up about her transformative decision to pack a single bag for a six-month backpacking journey, secure a global talent visa to move to London, and audaciously apply to UC Berkeley—proving to herself that her identity is defined by who she is, not just what she produces.  This conversation is a rallying cry for the dreamers, the freelancers, and anyone standing at a terrifying crossroads in life. It will challenge you to drop the illusion of control, fall in love with your future more than the comfort of your current timeline, and discover why keeping your heart open through rejection is the ultimate human superpower.  "Leap, and the universe will catch you." Whether you are a Gemini, know a Gemini, or are completely new to your birth chart, this conversation is a deeply healing and soul-nourishing exploration of the archetypes that move within us all.  Discover the Power of the Mind and Voice After the grounded, slow pace of Taurus season, Gemini arrives as the first Air sign of the zodiac wheel, bringing speed, intellectual stimulation, and a thirst for newness. Ruled by Mercury, this season focuses on the Third House—the domain of communication, social connections, and the "archetype of the journalist".  In this episode, we explore: The Power of Communication: Why Gemini is tied to the throat chakra and how to find your authentic voice through singing, chanting, or writing. Embracing Duality: Understanding that being "more than one thing" is not just okay—it is the fullness of life. Navigating Change: A look at the significant transit of Uranus in Gemini, a cycle of rapid revolution and sudden changes in how we process information. The Shadow Side: Honest reflections on "trickster energy," the challenge of compartmentalization, and the pitfalls of oversharing or gossip to create "false intimacy". Rituals for the Gemini New Moon Kalpna and Josephine share practical tools to help you stay agile and rooted as things speed up: The Sovereignty Circle: Write down the names of people and content creators in your life. Circle the ones who make you feel relaxed and authentic, and notice where you feel the need to "perform". Morning Pages: Commit to daily journaling to ground scattered thoughts and cultivate self-love. The House of Communication: A creative manifestation doodle to visualize the music, books, and people you want to welcome into your inner world. "She transforms her own dark into her own light. She sees her private shadows and loves them... She is the source of herself, and she is always in a state of greater becoming." Join us for a conversation that celebrates joy as a birthright and encourages you to find your own essence amidst the many choices of the universe.  Listen now and let your curiosity guide you!
