“Jujiteira”… what is that? A jujiteira is a woman who trains Jiu Jitsu, “the gentle art”. But that’s not all we are. We are women from all different walks of life, of all different ages, of all different backgrounds--and what unites us is this beautiful art called Jiu Jitsu. My name is Stacy, aka Jujiteira, and I am your host. On this podcast, I discuss my thoughts and experiences as a jujiteria, and I also chat with other jujiteiras, ask them about their experiences, and bond with them though our shared gentle art—including the good, the bad, and the awkward! With this podcast, my goal is to build a community for women in (and outside of) Jiu Jitsu to connect across the world, share their experiences, and find a place to belong.
