cerebral + emotional intelligence

The phenomenal writing and acting in this podcast made me feel like I was eavesdropping on the most cerebrally and emotionally intelligent people on this planet. In fact, I felt like these two were piped in from another dimension! Their incredible self-awareness, humility and vocabulary impressed me, but it was the slow and steady tip-toe towards love that made me binge. If I were a therapist or counselor, I'd use snippets of these episodes to demonstrate healthy communication. And, if I were a teacher or professor, i'd use them to instigate thinking. I can't wait to see how the story continues!

I liked it... BUT

There were some parts that I didn’t enjoy at all. I would recommend it to someone but only if they not mind something unfinished. To put it simply, here’s a pro and con

Pros:
Voice actors are brilliant
Good production quality
Interesting story
Easy listening

Cons:
Jules character becomes quite irritating
There is absolutely no closure by episode 21

A surprisingly heartfelt story told through phone calls

A random wrong number phone call leads to an unexpected conversation, which leads to a series of conversations.

An unlikely friendship forms, and leads to weekly phone calls between Jules, a British writer and filmmaker, and James, an American painter living in Paris.

Over the course of the conversations, we learn more about their life, goals, and relationships. A simple and laid back format, but very well done.
