Over the last five years, her organization has grown into a movement to stop the senseless gun violence in our communities. In 2019, Aaliyah Stewart, began developing a plan to build a youth center in her hometown of Gary, Indiana. This community center will be a safe haven for the youth of the city-a place where they can come together for recreation and to receive guidance and direction.
