Thankful Jules keeps it rolling otherwise can’t stay interested.

I reeeeaaaally wanted to like this podcast, like so bad. Here’s what gets me every time… and it happens all the time… privilege just radiates off them, especially Alex. When talking about vacations with nanny’s and similar topics, Harrison will usually aknowledge how lucky/grateful they are. Well, recently Alex butted in (like she always does when her hubby expresses an original thought) and said something along the lines of “well, we worked hard” which completely diminished what he had said. Like, he was trying to say he understands that not everybody has these luxuries and she might have “worked hard” but she also always marries rich dudes. You know who works hard? Single mamas with no help, a low paying job, and a couple of kids. And maybe they would like a podcast that’s more relatable or at least empathetic. They are so out of touch and insufferable. And, if you start listening, beware: they usually spend the first 30 minutes talking about plane tickets they have to get refunded for and should they get sky miles instead or going to the US Open or blatant self promotion. I’m sure they’re ok parents but everything they say they’re doing isn’t new but they act like they invented it. Jules- no clue who she is or why she’s there but they need her. She keeps them on topic and she’s down to earth, unlike the other two. This pod is basically just ramblings of two self centered thirty something’s who think they’re intelligent but are mid at best.

I’ve listened to this podcast through both babies. I cannot believe that Alex has gotten this far with the most awful grammar on the internet! Every word ends in “ink” (aka sing-ink, follow-ink, lik-ink) and her inability to follow basic grammar rules is so off putting I’m done! Example, “you and I’s wedding”. What? Girl learn how to talk until then bye!
