    Losing a look alike contest about yourself...

    I start things off with some wild Dolly Parton facts—from her dad paying the doctor who delivered her with food because the family was so poor, to the time Dolly entered a Dolly Parton lookalike contest and actually LOST. We also talk about how her fingernails helped create the iconic rhythm in “9 to 5,” why she sleeps in makeup, turning down Elvis Presley, and the connection between Dolly Parton and the world's most famous cloned sheep. Then we get into New Music Friday, talk about some of the shows I've been watching, including Tires, Million Dollar Secret, The Maid, and Spinning Out, and go through what's currently on the playlist.
