CensusViewer.com, “Abilene, Texas Population: Census 2010 and 2000 Interactive Map, Demographics, Statistics, Quick Facts”, http://censusviewer.com/city/TX/Abilene,   last accessed (2nd time) on 10 October, 2017.
(My personal calculation: Abilene had just short of 116,000 (115,964) people in 2000 and just over 117,00 people (117,063) in 2010 - a change of only 1,099 people in 10 years.  So I think we can pretty easily extrapolate the population of Abilene in 2002, to be somewhere between 116,000 and 117,000 people, probably closer to the former.

I Remember…

I was a resident of Abilene (8years) when this tragic event happened. We moved away for 14 years, and have been back now for 2. Listened intently to every episode. The audio is a handicap, but the drive to have the case solved is impressive. I will continue to listen.

Great

So good, such a sad case. I hope they can do genetic genealogy on this one.

Excellent True Crime podcast!

Sharon has done so much research and also brings compassion and care to this case. She really takes care to portray Jennifer as the person she was, instead of JUST a victim. I loved hearing Jennifer’s family interviewed on the podcast. This is truly a gem.
