Kajan Chow

Seasoned electronic artist, curator and educator with Chinese roots. Originating from the Dutch seaside town of Breskens, he is now based in the Rotterdam area. Kajan performed in countries such as the US, Belgium, Malta, Bulgaria, Poland, Croatia, Germany, the UK, Hong Kong, and China. Kajan is known for his refined approach to blending warm soulful, deep cuts with raw and quirky gems. He has a reputation for curating music, often delivering esteemed six-hour DJ sets that create sonic appetite and balance by embracing diverse rhythms, frequencies and moods. 2022 marked his release of 'Umami Fulfillmento' on the compilation Enclose: The Sound of The Jane, joining Sebastian Mullaert, Anfisa Letyago, Sue Avenue, Maxim Lany, Gerd Janson, Marino Carnal and others on this limited vinyl-release. Further studio and live-production work comes with his creative input as performer and producer in Rotterdam-based Pilot Wave Live, and Breda-based Omega Zen Live, performing live-sets. He also provides music direction for high-end (Michelin) venues across Europe, providing exciting, edgy and cozy music pairings.
