    Well, it has nearly been a good two years since the Reserve Bank of New Zealand told us that they were going to be engineering a recession so we thought that two years into this recession it was time to take a look and see what people were saying two years ago. Now that we are deep in it, what should we expect from here? What’s happening with business confidence? Will house prices continue to rise? When will rates slide further? Will they print money again? This one won’t be as optimistic as you may HOPE but it’s realistic and that’s what we’ve been the whole way through. Get ready to take more action. When it’s hard, push harder!     In the past, earning a six-figure income was a significant milestone, some sort of marker of financial success. But with rising costs and inflation, the purchasing power of $100,000 has decreased. So, setting an arbitrary income goal like "$100,000" might not be the right target anymore. It is believed that about 16% of working Kiwis now earn $100,000 or more. That number will continue to increase. In 2001, that was under 2% of wage and salary earners. Hey thanks for listening!
