We are two best friends who met in college in Bangalore. But right after college we drifted apart as we moved to different parts of the world. Now, whenever we do catch up, we talk about everything under the sun and usually end up having pretty philosophical conversations.     A News App is a great tool to keep you informed about the world. But in my perspective, if it's not handled correctly, it can do more harm than good in the long run. But it's important to ask ourselves a few questions.  Are we paying attention to the kind of news we are consuming without even realizing?  Are we paying attention to the way a news is presented to us?     Episode 19: Learnings from Meditation - The flow of thought

    In my meditation journey of almost 5 years, the thing that I have struggled with the most is the flow of thought. I have frequently noticed that the biggest doubt most other people have regarding meditation is 'HOW TO NOT GET DISTRACTED BY THOUGHTS?'. But, this is where the problem lies. And I realized this in practice only recently. Just a small shift in how we look at this situation can totally change the way we understand thoughts and how we lead our life.     Episode 16: What can cricket teach you about life?

    As I was gearing up to watch the ongoing IPL season, I came across the documentary called 'The Test: A New Era for Australia's Team'. This is a beautifully made documentary about the rise of the Australian Cricket Team after the famous ball tampering scandal involving Australian cricketers Cameron Bancroft, Steve Smith and David Warner which led to their ban from playing all forms of cricket for a year. Even though this documentary tells an engaging cricketing story, I couldn't help but find so many similarities in the challenges the cricketers faced and the challenges we face in our life. I think this similarity was what made it so much more engaging.  So on this episode of keeping it simple i speak about what life lessons I learned from the Aussie Team's journey on 'The Test: A New Era for Australia's Team'.     Episode 15: Would you be a chair or a table?

    Today's episode of Keeping it Simple is going to be a little different. After talking about a lot of heavy topics, we felt like keeping it light today. So on today's episode, Sachin and I played a fun game of This or That and why?  So basically we ask each other this or that questions, we then pick an answer and then we explain why we chose the answer. Some questions are plain dumb and just for fun, while are some are more philosophical and will hopefully give you some insight into how we both think.  And guys you also play along.
