    So Anyway... Book Review

    Joe has hoisted upon us another memoir to read this month. This time he has turned to one of the funniest people alive to deep-dive into the inner workings of. In So Anyway..., by John Cleese, we will learn how such a legend is born. This book goes into great detail on his childhood and early career. Listen in to see what the brothers think and to see how much the gush over one of their favorite funnymen of all time.   Next month Alex his picked us to read Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K. Jerome. It is a short read, and supposedly one of the funniest books that John Cleese has ever read. And no, Alex did not pick this book because of him. Just a happy accident (If you know what I mean).     The Lost Track of Time Book Review

    Alex has gone back to the Middle School literature to try to find that magic that young readers are so lucky to have when first discovering the wonders of reading. In the book The Lost Track of Time by Paige Britt, he believes he has found it. Listen in to find out what Joe thinks and how the brothers break down the writing in their infamous uneducated scrutiny.   This is another little known author that deserves more attention, with illustrations that will impress the hardest critic. Sadly, the book is a hard one to find. Please help this author out and find yourself a copy, or ask your local library to find it for you.     Joe has struck again, with another Sci-Fi book. This month he picked Caves of Steel by Isaac Asimov.     The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi Book Review

    Alex has given himself a challenge since I told him to rage read Some Desperate Glory. He is trying to read all the other Hugo nominations from that year to see if SDG actually deserved to win and it was simply a bad year. This is the first book that he picked up from that class, and he thought Joe should check it out too.    In this episode we read The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty.     Bonus Episode: The Butcher Game: The Game!

    Yes. We are beating this dead horse some more. But, this episode had to be one of the most fun episodes we have yet to record. Alex, was finally guilted into reading the Butcher Game by Alaina Urquhart. Not wanting to stay quiet on his thoughts about it, he developed a game for Joe to play. There is even an award if Joe wins. Or if he loses, Alex gets to exact his costs out of Joe for forcing him to read the book.   The Butcher Game: The Game is our first attempt at making a game show. Joe has to stretch his memory and mind as to a series he has done his best to block. Let's see if he is able to get past Alex's deviously difficult questions. Becky even makes a guest appearance for the last portion of the game (this was the best part of the whole night; you don't want to miss it).   Next month is Alex's book pick.
