    Big Bone Lick

    Date 12/31/21 This was amazing.  I’m a huge fan of extinct animals.  If you don’t like pioneers or the civil war, this might be the only historical park you’ll enjoy.  The Museum is great.     Taylorsville Lake

    Lake Malone

    Jefferson Davis Memorial

    This was a hard one.  I tried to acknowledge the impact this man had on history, but I didn’t want to seem to glorify him.  I wouldn’t be worried about seeming to glorify him if there weren’t people out there actually glorifying him.  Anyway, I talk about this all I want to in the episode.     Dawson Springs

    Dawson Springs was hit very hard by a tornado recently. I haven’t really looked into what has survived the devastation. I kind of don’t want to know. I am most worried about the baseball field. I’m glad to have visited when I did. I think it is a great town to visit.     Pennyrile Forest
