    Down Goes Kimmel, Capitalism Wins Again, Listeners Bombard KU, Lawyer Blasts Rashee Rice, Another New NFL Stadium, NCAA Changes Portal, 1587 Prices Shock

    ABC Late Night host Jimmy Kimmel is off the air indefinitely and critics are blasting this as an attack on free speech.  It's everything but an attack on free speech.  Kimmel has had free reign to say whatever he wants and be so wrong and mean and pathetic for so long, this is just capitalism winning again.  I'll set this all straight for those that think he's being silenced.    KKHI listeners just bombarded KU with calls and emails on Wednesday as Brianna Wasser is still employed.  The school rakes in over $400 million a year from federal taxpayers and says they can't get rid of a woman that called Charlie Kirk "worm food."   The feds need to get involved if the Kansas governor wants to ignore this.    A lawyer for one of the victims in the Rashee Rice caused car crash is livid over the "Free 4" tee shirts Travis Kelce and others wore Sunday.  Wait until you hear what he has to say.    Yet another NFL team is building a brand new NFL stadium instead of renovating.  And get this... the deal this team is getting is exactly the opposite of what the Chiefs would get in Kansas.  This team is paying 73 percent of costs and only getting 27% from the government.    The NCAA is cleaning up the transfer portal for college football in a pretty simple way.  Salvy hits another bomb as Cole Ragans returns and in our Final Final... we'll tell you how much it costs to dine at 1587 Steakhouse.

    Conservatives are Hot, KU Stands by "Worm Food" Employee, Mizzou & Starbucks Correct, Xavier Worthy May Play, Record Night at the K, US Open Cocktail Sales Stuns

    As we close in on five years of KKHI I can honestly say I've never seen a reaction from listeners like the past week. Everyone is upset and motivated after the assassination of Charlie Kirk and we all want to do something. It's inspiring for sure.  It's been mostly good news of people on the left losing their jobs after saying horrible things about this tragedy.   But KU is standing by the employee that referred to Kirk as "worm food."  This can't stand.  Let's get busy and call 785.864.2700 or email publicaffairs@ku.edu and let them know how you feel.      Mizzou and Starbucks get it right by having the exact same policy.  We should consider it a win and not complain about it.    Media reports indicate Xavier Worthy is likely to play Sunday night in NY against the Giants.  If he does, it appears he will be playing with a torn labrum.    It was a record night at Kauffman Stadium for Seattle's "Big Dumper."   He broke a record set by Mickey Mantle.  KC's Carter Jensen also had a huge night and this sure bodes well for the future.    A single cocktail at the US Open made them enough money to pay the first place prizes for the men's and women's singles champs.  Wait until you hear how much one drink made.  And our Final Final is a celebrity that truly needs help with his TDS.

    Vance and Gutfeld Unload, KU Staffer Goes Low, Trump Sues NY Times, Andy Reid's Awful Response, Chargers Take Charge, Jessica Story is Final-Final

    It's getting hotter under the collar for some conservatives in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk murder.  VP JD Vance hosted Kirk's show Monday and unloaded on people that he says he will not seek unity with and Greg Gutfeld went bonkers on Fox News.  We'll play it for you.    A staffer at KU is in focus for referring to Charlie Kirk as "worm food" and it's impossible to see how she will keep her job.   President Trump sues the NY Times for defamation, signs a memo to take over policing Memphis streets and blows up a Venezuelan drug boat.  Just another day.    Andy Reid's answer about the Chiefs players that wore those pathetic "Free 4" shirts for suspended wide receiver Rashee Rice proves once again he has no clue about anything but football.  Man, for a great, great coach, he sure doesn't seem to know much about the rest of the world.     The Chargers go to 2-0 and are absolutely the team to beat in the AFC West.  Tom Brady is hanging out in the Raiders coaching booth during games.  KU and MU prep for big home games Saturday.   Oh, and our Final Final today is a very funny story about Miss Jessica.

    Chiefs Tush Pushed to 0-2, Offensive Woes Alarming, Taylor Swift Checks Out, MU/KSU Different Paths

    The Chiefs look lost on offense with no running game other than a scrambling Patrick Mahomes and their mission of hitting deep passes has one glaring problem.  It's something Mahomes is not good at.  Like, really not good at.  He chucks it flat and deep almost every time and the Chiefs just aren't good enough right now to cover up mistakes by Mahomes and HOF tight end Travis Kelce.    It gets even uglier, Kelce bolted without talking to the media after his fumble cost the Chiefs this game and his fiance now has a crap show going on as she's apparently walking around Arrowhead with a rolling wall to block her from all us regular people.  Oh, we are seeing things we haven't seen before and its no fun at all.    Stan Weber helps us break down all the problems and then we get into Mizzou's perfect start and a K-State team inf free fall.

    Breaking: Kirk Assassin in Custody, Touching Stories of Support, KC/Philly SB Rematch, Announcer Quits Chiefs, Point Spread Picks

    President Trump announces on live tv Friday morning the suspected shooter in the murder of Charlie Kirk is in custody and was turned in by a Christian Minister who had a friend in law enforcement.  There are not any further details but the stories of how they identified him and the touching stories of support are everywhere.    The Chiefs and Eagles are set for a Super Bowl rematch and Xavier Worthy is back on the practice field.  I have a most unusual prediction for this one.    The long time stadium announcer has quit his job with the Chiefs at Arrowhead because he says the Chiefs "crossed my red line."  Uh oh.    The Royals are all but eliminated after blowing one in Cleveland.  And Lee Sterling of www.paramountsports.com is here with our point spread picks.

    Charlie Kirk Assassination Stuns America

    I woke up this morning hoping to feel something different than what I felt yesterday watching the horrific video of Charlie Kirk being murdered in cold blood for speaking his beliefs in public.   Instead, we are feeling a resolve in our profound sadness that this happens in America.    As we record this podcast, the killer is still at large, far left crazies are getting fired right and left for celebrating the killing and Dem politicians are spewing lies that they condemn this violence.      You can't call a man a Nazi, a threat to democracy, a hate filled racist and a white nationalist and not expect an unhinged member of your base to take action.  This may or may not have been a part of their playbook as there's plenty of countries that are Trump enemies that could have done this, too.  But it sure feels like Democrats are happy Charlie Kirk is dead.  What a horrible day for our nation.

    KKHI Breaking News: Charlie Kirk Shot at Event in Utah

    Turning Point USA's founder Charlie Kirk was 20 minutes in to one of his campus tour speaking events at Utah Valley State University when he was shot by a high powered rifle, in the neck, from 200 yards away.    Utah authorities have a man in custody.    Kirk was shot after being asked a question about gun violence and blood poured from his neck.  There's horrific video everywhere.  This is the worst thing you've ever seen.    I share my reaction to what we know, what I've seen and the pathetic reaction from leftists and left wing media.  This feels like an urgent time to save America from caving to the violence and intimidation of the left.
