    Today my guest inspires us with her sweet soul. Erin Smith shares her experiences working with students as a school social worker after getting her Master's Degree in Social Work from UNLV and receiving her Clinical License as well as the impact of generational trauma within families. We talk about the gifts and challenges of motherhood and Erin shares about creating her business Picnics In The LV. We also shed some tears of grief over the past and reminisce on some hilarious high school memories. I've known Erin for 20 years and her pure heart has always inspired me.     21| Plant mama Queen Jesika shares about creativity, caring for plants & hilarious childhood games

    Today my guest is truly a hoot and a half! Queen Jesika knew early on that she felt more like a queen than a princess and learned that if she wanted to be heard growing up in a loud family with brothers, she'd need to be assertive and use her voice. She shares about her gradual entry into being a plant mama, what goes into caring for so much greenery and tips for those of us who are wanting to become plant people. Growing up in Michigan and eventually moving to Las Vegas in 2020, Jess reminds us to laugh through the journey, listen to our plants, get out of our heads when it comes to creativity and transition out of the boxes we place ourselves in.     20| Artist Joseph Watson shares his inspiring journey of becoming a Las Vegas based fine art painter & children's book illustrator

    Las Vegas based fine artist & illustrator Joseph Watson & his wonderful wife Tamara join us today. He began his art career by airbrushing t-shirts in a friend's front yard to renting out a small space at the Roadium swap meet in L.A., meeting Mr. Cartoon & taking his advice of attending the L.A. Trade Tech for sign painting, then graduating from the Prestigious art Center College of Design in Pasadena where he was exposed to many different disciplines, working for a video game company & painting his first collection, to running his own fine art gallery for 12 years in the Arts Factory in the LV Arts District, raising their son, illustrating children's books, being part of history at the Historic Westside Legacy Park with his portraits of 36 influential African Americans that paved their way in Las Vegas, the art of time management & so much more. Our conversation reminds us of the power of beginning where you are with what you have, the importance of enjoying what you do, making it authentic and creating your own opportunities. From seeding to sprouting, nature has a way of healing us and showing us the way through. From founding Allegro Land and Lifestyle Co. in his neighborhood of Blue Diamond, Nevada bringing gardens back to the backyard, caring for others, to sharing his path home to his truth and the darkness in between - this heartfelt conversation was truly an honor to be a part of.     Failure. What is it and how does it serve us? Early life failure felt like not being picked for the team or giving the wrong answer in school. Through time however, the past becomes alchemized and peace finds its way through the "failures" of life.
