    A Faith That Does Not Fail - Luke 22:31-32

    A Faith That Doesn’t Fail Key Scripture Luke 22:31–32 (KJV) “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” One of the things we eventually learn in our walk with God is that faith is easy when life is going well. When prayers are being answered quickly, when doors are opening, when circumstances seem to cooperate with what we’re believing God for. But the real question isn’t whether we have faith in comfortable seasons. The real question is: What kind of faith survives pressure? In this moment with Peter, Jesus reveals something important. He didn’t pray that Peter would avoid trouble. He didn’t pray that Peter would escape the test. Instead, He prayed something very specific. “I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not.” Which tells us something about the Christian life. The goal isn’t simply to have faith. The goal is to develop a faith that doesn’t collapse when life becomes difficult. And today we are going to talk about 5 ways you can ensure that your faith does not fail.

    Stewarding this season well - Luke 16:10

    How to Connect With God

    Hello everyone, welcome back to the podcast. This is Episode #5. And biblically, #5 is the number of grace. And we have certainly been experiencing God’s grace in our Thursday bible studies. We had a great time of discussion, testimony and we closed out with unity prayer that we had to do 2 benedictions for because the power of the holy ghost showed up so powerfully.  Last week, we talked about ways to connect with God and how He meets us in more than one spiritual pathway. We discussed 6 out of the 12 ways we connect with God. We explored movement, discovering that walking, working, or even dancing can become a form of prayer. We discussed conversation, learning that prayer is an ongoing dialogue with God, not just a scheduled moment. We reflected on solitude, creating quiet space to listen and regain perspective. We considered expression, encountering God through creativity and the act of making. We focused on meditation, allowing Scripture to slow us down and shape our inner life. We ended with adoration, worshiping God simply for who He is, without agenda or request. And this Thursday, February 12th, we’re going to discuss the other six ways to connect with God.     When God Shows Up in the Ordinary - Exodus 3:1-5

    Today we’re talking about what it looks like when God shows up in the middle of ordinary, everyday life. If we’re honest, there are some weeks where life just feels… heavy. Not heavy because of a crisis. Not heavy because something is falling apart. Just heavy in the weight of the everyday. Heavy just moving through your routine—and it feels like every day looks the same. If that sounds like you, this episode is for you.

    How To Hear God More Clearly - John 10:27

    Today I want to deal with something that touches every area of our lives, our decisions, our relationships, our purpose, our healing journey, our next moves and steps…and that is, hearing God. But not only hearing God, but we are going to speak today about how to hear God more clearly.  Because if we’re being honest, most believers aren’t asking, “Does God speak?” But we’re asking, “God… how do I know it’s You?”  And We’re going to cover three things: First, what the Bible says about hearing God. Second, why it can be hard to hear Him today. And third, how God speaks and how you can hear Him more clearly. Jesus said something in John 10:27 that we can’t ignore: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” Meaning, if you belong to God, the ability to hear Him is already a part of your relationship with God.

    "The Appointed Time" - Habakkuk 2:3

    Today, I want to take what we talked about last week and go one step deeper. Because writing the vision is powerful and running with the vision is inspiring, but the question becomes…what do you do when the vision is clear, but the timing is not? That’s where Habakkuk 2:3 comes in. “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” The Lord speaks to Habakkuk and says the vision is yet for an appointed time.  Many believers today view God’s promises as a straight line. Moving from Point A… the promise. To Point B… the fulfillment of that promise.  But the Bible doesn’t show God’s promises and fulfillment as a straight line.  But Scripture shows us that God moves in seasons. In stages. In a timeline. So today, I will map out 5 phases every believer goes through while waiting for the appointed time and for the promise. And chances are you will find yourself in one of these phases.
