The Last Days Transformation of Humanity: Paul's Warning in 2 Timothy 3 | KIB 548

The Last Days Transformation of Humanity: Paul's Warning in 2 Timothy 3 | KIB 548 Kingdom Intelligence Briefing DESCRIPTION THE LAST DAYS TRANSFORMATION OF HUMANITY Kingdom Intelligence Briefing — Episode 548 What happens to humanity when God is removed from the center, biblical restraint is rejected, and SELF takes the throne? In 2 Timothy 3:1–9, the Apostle Paul gives one of Scripture's most sobering descriptions of humanity in the last days. Paul warns that "times of difficulty" will come. But what makes those times dangerous? PEOPLE. The dangerous character of the times emerges from the increasingly dangerous character of humanity. In KIB 548, Dr. Michael Lake and Mary Lou Lake examine Paul's warning and trace a downward progression beginning with one foundational disorder: ·      "People will be lovers of self." — 2 Timothy 3:2 ·      Once SELF becomes supreme, everything else begins to shift. ·      Truth becomes: "What is true for me?" ·      Morality becomes: "What feels right to me?" ·      Identity becomes: "What do I believe myself to be?" ·      Religion becomes: "What can God do for me?" ·      Worship becomes: "How does this make me feel?" ·      Humanity gradually replaces God as its own reference point. Dr. Lake describes this as an "anthropological inversion"—God, others, and self are replaced by self, personal desires, and God only when He is useful. The result is precisely the progression Paul describes: ·      Lovers of self. ·      Lovers of money. ·      Proud. ·      Arrogant. ·      Abusive. ·      Ungrateful. ·      Unholy. ·      Heartless. ·      Unappeasable. ·      Slanderous. ·      Without self-control. ·      Brutal. ·      Not loving good. ·      Treacherous. ·      Reckless. ·      Swollen with conceit. ·      Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. And then comes perhaps the most disturbing warning of all: "Having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power." — 2 Timothy 3:5 Paul is not merely describing secular wickedness. He warns that rebellion can eventually CLOTHE ITSELF IN RELIGIOUS LANGUAGE. ·      Christian vocabulary without biblical obedience. ·      Worship without holiness. ·      Church attendance without discipleship. ·      Spiritual experiences without discernment. ·      Grace without repentance. ·      Faith without faithfulness. ·      Religious identity without transformation. This is RELIGION WITHOUT POWER. The episode also examines the significance of Jannes and Jambres in 2 Timothy 3:8, spiritual deception, counterfeit supernatural manifestations, the loss of self-control, increasing brutality, slander and accusation, the weakening of moral restraint, and the spiritual warfare believers may increasingly encounter in the days ahead. Paul's reference to Jannes and Jambres connects to the possibility of intensified occult counterfeits as the last days progress. Yet KIB 548 does not end with darkness. As humanity moves increasingly toward the exaltation of self, God is preparing a people who move in the opposite direction. The world becomes increasingly self-centered. | The remnant becomes increasingly Christ-centered. The world rejects holiness. | The remnant pursues holiness. The world abandons truth. | The remnant stands upon the Word. The world loses self-control. | The Holy Spirit produces self-control within God's people. The world conforms increasingly to rebellion. | The remnant is conformed increasingly to the image of Christ. The coming contrast may become unmistakable: ·      THIS IS LIFE WITHOUT GOD. ·      THIS IS LIFE WITH GOD. NOW CHOOSE. Dr. Lake's closing exhortation is urgent: when believers see 2 Timothy 3:1–9 unfolding around them, it is time to take God seriously and determine to follow biblical truth even when the surrounding culture abandons it. SPIRITUAL WARFARE IN THE DAYS AHEAD This episode also warns believers that the spiritual battle may become increasingly visible. ·      The answer is not fear. ·      The answer is preparation. ·      Learn the Word. ·      Develop discernment. ·      Understand your authority in Christ. ·      Practice obedience now. ·      Pursue holiness now. ·      Learn biblical spiritual warfare now. Do not wait until the battle becomes intense to discover what Scripture teaches about standing against the kingdom of darkness. As the episode emphasizes, believers were "birthed in the battlefield." Learning obedience to Christ now prepares God's people for increasing spiritual conflict later. The Doctrine of Balaam: Exposing Corruption in the Modern Prophetic Movement | KIB 547

The Doctrine of Balaam: Exposing Corruption in the Modern Prophetic Movement | KIB 547 Kingdom Intelligence Briefing DESCRIPTION THE DOCTRINE OF BALAAM: EXPOSING CORRUPTION IN THE MODERN PROPHETIC MOVEMENT Kingdom Intelligence Briefing — Episode 547 What does the biblical account of Balaam reveal about the modern prophetic movement? Balaam presents one of Scripture's most sobering examples of supernatural gifting separated from godly character.  He could encounter genuine supernatural revelation.  He could speak words God placed in his mouth.  He even delivered a remarkable prophecy concerning the coming Messiah.  Yet Balaam's supernatural experiences did not transform his character.  His heart remained vulnerable to money, honor, influence, compromise, and access to kings.  That creates a critical warning for the Church today: ·      Prophetic accuracy does not necessarily equal divine approval. ·      Supernatural power does not equal holiness. ·      Revelation does not equal character. ·      Gifting does not equal maturity. ·      Anointing does not equal obedience. Jesus taught that fruit remains essential in discerning spiritual ministry. In KIB 547, Dr. Michael Lake and Mary Lou Lake undertake a biblical examination of Balaam and discover that the New Testament gives us three powerful categories for understanding prophetic corruption: THE WAY OF BALAAM — 2 Peter 2:15 THE ERROR OF BALAAM — Jude 1:11 THE DOCTRINE OF BALAAM — Revelation 2:14 Together, these passages provide a biblical framework for evaluating modern prophetic ministry. The episode examines how genuine or claimed spiritual gifting can become corrupted when joined with covetousness, ambition, political influence, celebrity, sexual compromise, financial manipulation, and the commercialization of spiritual authority. One of the deepest theological observations in the episode is this: Balaam wanted God's power without God's government. That same temptation remains possible today: ·      Prophecy without holiness. ·      Power without obedience. ·      Gifts without character. ·      Authority without accountability. ·      Revelation without Scripture. ·      Anointing without crucifying the flesh. ·      Kingdom authority without submission to the King. True biblical prophetic ministry cannot be separated from covenant faithfulness and obedience. THE WAY OF BALAAM Second Peter 2:15 identifies Balaam as one "who loved gain from wrongdoing." ·      The problem is not legitimate financial support for ministry. ·      The danger begins when money starts influencing ministry. ·      When access to a prophet is sold. ·      When prophetic words become commodities. ·      When larger offerings produce more favorable prophecies. ·      When invitations, platforms, donors, and political connections begin determining what a minister will—or will not—say. ·      At that point, the gift is being monetized. Biblical ministry may receive support, but God's gifts must never become merchandise. THE ERROR OF BALAAM Jude 1:11 exposes another dimension. A minister can begin assuming that because supernatural manifestations continue, God must approve of the minister's character and conduct. Balaam destroys that assumption. Something supernatural happening does not prove that God approves of the vessel. The question must move beyond: "Was the prophecy accurate?" We must also ask: ·      Does the ministry exalt Jesus Christ? ·      Does it submit prophetic claims to Scripture? ·      Does it produce holiness and repentance? ·      Does it strengthen covenant faithfulness? ·      Is there humility? ·      Is there financial and sexual integrity? ·      Is there meaningful accountability? ·      Are failed predictions acknowledged? ·      Does the ministry create dependence upon Christ—or dependence upon the prophet? ·      Does it produce mature disciples—or prophetic consumers? And perhaps one of the most important questions: Will the prophet speak the truth when doing so could cost the prophet money, popularity, political access, followers, conference invitations, or the entire platform? The episode contrasts Balaam with Micaiah, who was willing to suffer rather than alter the word God had given him. THE DOCTRINE OF BALAAM Revelation 2:14 takes the warning even further. Personal corruption eventually becomes doctrine. Balaam discovered that he could not directly curse the people God had blessed. Instead, Israel was enticed into idolatry and sexual immorality. The pattern becomes: ·      Gift ·      Revelation ·      Opportunity ·      Desire for reward ·      Compromise ·      Rationalization ·      Prophetic corruption ·      Teaching others to compromise ·      Covenantal judgment The compromised minister eventually becomes an architect of compromise in others. DON'T THROW OUT THE TRUE BECAUSE OF THE FALSE This episode is not an argument for rejecting biblical prophetic ministry. Quite the opposite. The existence of counterfeit ministry makes biblical discernment even more important. Jesus places the doctrine of Balaam inside the Church in Revelation 2:14. The warning to Pergamum therefore provides a serious pattern for examining what the Church tolerates. The answer is not cynicism. The answer is testing. "Prove all things." Return everything to Scripture. Reject the false. Hold fast to what is good. And allow God to restore genuine biblical ministry. The closing message of KIB 547 is ultimately one of hope: God is preparing His remnant, exposing what is false, and calling His people back to Christ, His Kingdom, His Word, holiness, and covenant faithfulness. God Is Shaking His Church: Judgment, Restoration & the Return to Biblical Foundations | KIB 546

God Is Shaking His Church: Judgment, Restoration & the Return to Biblical Foundations | KIB 546 Kingdom Intelligence Briefing DESCRIPTION Is the shaking in the Church merely destruction—or could God be using judgment to prepare His people for restoration? In KIB 546, Dr. Michael Lake and Mary Lou Lake examine a powerful biblical pattern: when God's covenant people depart from His established foundations, judgment can become an instrument of restoration. Scripture repeatedly reveals a progression: ·      God establishes His order. ·      Mixture and compromise enter. ·      Prophetic warnings are given. ·      Repentance is resisted. ·      Judgment exposes and removes what is false. ·      A faithful remnant returns to covenant. ·      God restores upon the foundation He originally established. From the Babylonian exile and the rebuilding described in Ezra, to Jeremiah, Haggai, Josiah, Hebrews, Revelation, and the New Testament Church, the pattern remains remarkably consistent. Judgment does not necessarily mean that God has abandoned His people. His discipline can demonstrate precisely the opposite. Hebrews 12:6 teaches that the Lord disciplines those whom He loves. Dr. Lake explains why God may have to dismantle spiritual corruption, false doctrine, religious entertainment, prosperity thinking, celebrity culture, pagan mixture, and man-made traditions before genuine restoration can occur. The question for the remnant is not simply:  "God, will You revive what we have built?" A more important prayer may be:  "Father, remove everything we have built that prevents us from becoming what You intended." This episode examines the biblical sequence of judgment, remembrance, repentance, return, obedience, holiness, and restoration—and why understanding that process may be critical for the days ahead. God is not calling His people to invent another Christianity. He is calling His people back to the foundation. ·      Christ has not moved. ·      The Word has not changed. ·      The Kingdom cannot be shaken. The shaking reveals what God never built, so what He established can be seen clearly again. The remnant must return to Christ, biblical authority, holiness, obedience, covenant faithfulness, prayer, sound doctrine, the fear of the Lord, and the Holy Spirit's leadership. "Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken." — Hebrews 12:28 KEY SCRIPTURES DISCUSSED Jeremiah 30:11 Jeremiah 1:10 Jeremiah 7:4 Jeremiah 29:10–14 Deuteronomy 30:1–3 Isaiah 28:16 1 Corinthians 3:11–13 Haggai 1:5–9 2 Kings 22:11 2 Kings 23 Hebrews 12:5–11 Hebrews 12:26–28 Revelation 2:4–5 Revelation 3:19 1 Peter 4:17 Ezekiel 9:6 Isaiah 10:20–21 Zephaniah 3:12–13 John 15:2 CALL TO ACTION The time has come for believers to examine everything by the Word of God. The Rise of Islam & the Crisis of Biblical Christianity | KWR0062

The Rise of Islam & the Crisis of Biblical Christianity | KWR0062 Kingdom War Room DESCRIPTION What happens when a civilization loses its biblical foundations while competing religious and ideological systems grow stronger? In this powerful Kingdom War Room discussion, Dr. Michael Lake, Dr. Mike Spaulding, and Pastor Corby Shuey examine the growing influence of Islam in the Western world, the ideological conflicts facing America, and the spiritual condition that has left much of the modern Church unprepared to respond. This conversation is not a call for hatred, hostility, or mistreatment of Muslims. The speakers explicitly distinguish between people and the doctrines and ideological claims they are examining. The deeper question is: DO CHRISTIANS ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THEY BELIEVE? The Church is entering an age in which shallow Christianity will not be sufficient. As competing worldviews grow increasingly bold, believers must understand the Scriptures, know why they believe what they believe, develop biblical discernment, and become deeply rooted in Jesus Christ. This episode examines: ·      The rise of Islamic influence in Western culture and politics ·      Islam, Sharia, jihad, and competing religious worldviews ·      Why Christians must understand the theological differences between the biblical Jesus and the Islamic understanding of Jesus ·      The relationship between postmodernism, cultural deconstruction, socialism, and Islamism discussed by the panel ·      How emotionalism has weakened biblical Christianity ·      Why believers must learn to distinguish feelings from biblical truth ·      The danger of churches abandoning serious biblical study ·      Why spiritual discernment will become increasingly important ·      The need for pastors and Christian leaders to preach biblical truth without fear ·      Why the next generation desperately needs a biblical worldview ·      The difference between emotional conversion and genuine faith in Jesus Christ ·      Why worship must be centered on God rather than human experience ·      The necessity of spiritual discipline and deep biblical conviction Why the Remnant must develop deep spiritual roots for the days ahead One of the central warnings of this Kingdom War Room is simple: A shallow faith cannot withstand a serious spiritual battle. Dr. Lake observes that Christians have moved from being a studious people to becoming an entertainment-oriented people. Dr. Spaulding warns that believers who do not know Scripture or understand why they believe what they believe will find themselves increasingly unprepared for opposition. The answer is not fear. The answer is not hatred. The answer is not political violence. The answer is a Church that returns to the Word of God, walks in the fear of the Lord, develops spiritual discernment, and becomes firmly rooted in Jesus Christ. Pastor Corby makes this especially clear in the closing prayer: the response being advocated is not rudeness, violence, or aggression toward others, but humble submission to Scripture and faithful allegiance to Jesus Christ. The time for "three-millimeter-deep Christianity" is over.  We need roots that run deep.  We need believers who know the Word.  We need men and women who understand their faith.  And above everything else, we need a generation that knows Jesus Christ as Lord, King, Messiah, Redeemer, and Savior. Job 38:3 — "Dress for action like a man"; the discussion uses Job to emphasize accountability before Almighty God. Matthew 24 — The episode connects contemporary deception with Jesus' warnings concerning the last days. Psalm 1 — The closing exhortation uses the image of the deeply rooted tree as a model for believers who must withstand spiritual drought. The episode also repeatedly emphasizes the biblical confession of Jesus Christ as Lord, Messiah, Savior, Redeemer, and God incarnate. The discussion specifically contrasts that confession with Islamic Christology.

Breaking Free from the Old Gods: The Spiritual War Behind the World System | KIB545

Breaking Free from the Old Gods: The Spiritual War Behind the World System | KIB545 Kingdom Intelligence Briefing DESCRIPTION What if many things modern believers consider normal are actually remnants of a world system from which Christ has called us to separate? In Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Episode 545, Dr. Michael Lake and Mary Lou Lake examine the continuing spiritual battle between the Kingdom of God and the systems of this world. Beginning with the influence of ancient Greek and Roman culture and moving deeply into the Apostle Paul's teaching in Ephesians, this episode challenges the Remnant to recognize just how thoroughly the ways of the old world can become embedded in culture, religion, education, tradition, and everyday life. Dr. Lake focuses particularly on Ephesians 2:1–3, where Paul describes three interconnected dimensions of humanity's former bondage: the world, the devil, and the flesh. But Paul does not leave believers there. Christ has been raised above every ruler and authority, and those who belong to Him have been called into an entirely different Kingdom and way of life. This leads directly into the spiritual warfare of Ephesians 6. The believer's struggle is not merely against bad ideas, political systems, cultural movements, or human opponents. Paul identifies principalities, authorities, cosmic powers over this present darkness, and spiritual forces of evil. The enemy continually schemes to entangle believers in the very system from which Christ delivered them. That makes TRUTH indispensable. The armor of God does not begin with emotionalism, religious excitement, or spiritual spectacle. It begins with the belt of truth. Dr. Lake explains why believers cannot merely SAY that they are putting on the armor of God. The armor must become a lived spiritual reality through obedience, sanctification, prayer, faith, and the renewing of the mind through the Word of God. This episode also examines: ·      The continuing influence of Greek and Roman religious ideas on Western civilization ·      Ancient gods, principalities, and the spiritual warfare behind human systems ·      Why Paul was uniquely prepared to confront Greco-Roman culture with biblical truth ·      Ephesians 2:1–3 and the world, the flesh, and the prince of the power of the air ·      Why Christ's authority is greater than every principality and power ·      How cultural traditions can pull believers back toward the world system ·      Why true biblical Christianity will never comfortably conform to darkness ·      The spiritual meaning of the armor of God ·      Why spiritual warfare is an ongoing wrestling match ·      Emotionalism versus genuine conversion and transformation ·      Why forgiveness is essential in breaking the enemy's influence ·      Torah as the loving instruction of God ·      Jesus as the perfect example of walking in the Father's ways ·      The brazen laver, the altar, and becoming a living sacrifice ·      Why the Remnant must learn again to discern clean from unclean and good from evil ·      How believers can begin disentangling themselves from the world system one decision at a time The early Church could not be conquered by persecution because believers possessed the Scriptures, the testimony of Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Dr. Lake argues that abandoning the biblical foundations of the faith has left much of the modern Church unable to discern good from evil and vulnerable on the spiritual battlefield. The answer is not fear. The answer is a return to God. Every time we choose God's ways instead of the ways of the world, another strand connecting us to the world system is broken. Every act of obedience removes another avenue through which darkness attempts to influence our lives. The Kingdom of God is coming. Daniel 2:44 declares that God will establish a Kingdom that will never be destroyed. Revelation 11:15 announces: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever." And that Kingdom can begin reigning within the hearts and lives of God's people RIGHT NOW. The Remnant must prepare. It is time to hunger for the Word of God again. It is time to learn His ways. It is time to recognize the schemes of the enemy. It is time to become disentangled from the world system. And it is time to walk as citizens of the Kingdom of God. The Biblical Principle of the Leader-Warrior | Biblical Life TV | BLTV082026

DESCRIPTION Biblical leadership and spiritual warfare were never meant to be separated. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture repeatedly connects godly authority with the responsibility to guard, protect, preserve, and advance what God has established. In this powerful Biblical Life teaching, Dr. Michael Lake examines a truth the modern Church desperately needs to recover: Every legitimate biblical leader is called to stand under God's authority—and biblical authority carries with it the responsibility to resist darkness. The shepherd's staff provides a powerful picture of this principle. It steadies the leader's walk, guides those who follow, and can become a weapon when the flock is threatened. That pattern begins in Genesis. Adam was commissioned to exercise dominion, guard what God entrusted to him, and extend God's order throughout the earth. Yet the spiritual conflict was already underway. Leadership was necessary precisely because there was something that needed to be guarded. This principle continues throughout Scripture. ·      Noah protected humanity through obedience. ·      Abraham defended the covenant family. ·      Moses confronted Pharaoh. ·      Joshua led Israel against the corruption of Canaan. ·      David defended Israel from its enemies. ·      Nehemiah rebuilt Jerusalem while preparing the people to fight. And Jesus Christ—the perfect Shepherd, Leader, and Warrior—came "doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil" (Acts 10:38). The modern Church has often separated leadership from spiritual warfare. The result has been weakened families, passive believers, exhausted pastors, confused authority structures, and Christians who have never been taught how to stand their ground spiritually. That must change. Dr. Lake examines how biblical leadership establishes God's order, while spiritual warfare protects it. You will discover why: ·      Leadership begins with submission to God's authority. ·      The home is one of the first places biblical leadership must operate. ·      Husbands and wives were designed to function together under God's order. ·      Spiritual warfare did not begin in Genesis 3—the conflict was already present in Genesis 1. ·      Adam was commissioned to rule, guard, and preserve what God entrusted to him. ·      The shepherd's staff symbolizes both leadership and warfare. ·      Satan consistently targets leaders because destroying leadership scatters those under its protection. ·      The fivefold ministry carries specific responsibilities in the spiritual conflict. ·      Truth, holiness, prayer, obedience, discernment, and forgiveness are powerful weapons of biblical leadership. ·      Spiritual authority grows as believers themselves submit to the authority of Christ. ·      The name of Jesus must govern us before we presume to exercise His authority against the enemy. One of the most important principles in this teaching is simple: ·      Because I am under authority, I can move in authority. ·      Spiritual authority is not bravado. ·      It is not yelling at demons. ·      It is not religious theatrics. It flows from submission to Jesus Christ, obedience to the Word of God, holiness, covenant faithfulness, and a life increasingly governed by the character of Christ. The days ahead will require believers who know how to lead themselves, protect their households, discern deception, stand on biblical truth, and resist the kingdom of darkness. It is time to take up the shepherd's staff again.  It is time to LEAD.  It is time to GUARD.  It is time to STAND.  And when necessary, it is time to FIGHT. The Bible is not merely a devotional book.  It is also a war book. And God is preparing His remnant to understand how biblical leadership and spiritual warfare function together. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HELP US REACH AND EQUIP THE REMNANT If this teaching strengthens you, please: ✓ LIKE this video—it helps YouTube recommend this teaching to others. ✓ SUBSCRIBE to Biblical Life TV and turn on notifications so you don't miss future teachings. ✓ SHARE this message with pastors, fathers, husbands, ministry leaders, intercessors, and believers who understand that the Church must recover biblical leadership. ✓ COMMENT BELOW: What area of biblical leadership do you believe the Church most urgently needs to recover? True Biblical Worship vs. Strange Fire: What Does God Really Want? | KIB 543

True Biblical Worship vs. Strange Fire: What Does God Really Want? | KIB 543 DESCRIPTION Welcome to Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Episode #543 with Dr. Michael Lake and Mary Lou Lake. What does God actually desire from those who worship Him? Modern Christianity often defines worship primarily through music, singing, emotional experiences, and church services. But Scripture presents something far deeper. True biblical worship is not merely an event we attend—it is a covenant lifestyle of reverence, obedience, holiness, truth, thanksgiving, humility, service, repentance, and wholehearted devotion to God. In this episode, Dr. Michael Lake examines the biblical theology of worship from both the Old and New Testaments. Psalm 24 reveals the necessity of clean hands and a pure heart, while Jesus declares that the Father is seeking those who will worship Him "in spirit and truth." This teaching also confronts a serious problem within modern Christianity: worship can become religious performance while the believer's daily life remains disconnected from God. Scripture reveals that obedience itself is worship. Holiness is worship. Serving others can become worship. Thanksgiving is worship. Repentance restores true fellowship with God. Even studying Scripture to discover what pleases God becomes an expression of devotion to Him. Dr. Lake also examines Cain, Nadab and Abihu, Saul, Uzziah, and Israel's golden calf to demonstrate a sobering biblical principle: sincerity does not give humanity the authority to redefine worship. God determines how He is to be worshiped. The episode concludes with a warning that much of contemporary worship risks producing "strange fire" rather than Christlikeness—and a call for the Remnant to return to worship that transforms the worshiper and exalts God alone. IN THIS EPISODE: • Why worship is a lifestyle rather than an event • What it means to worship God in spirit and truth • The Hebrew and Greek concepts behind biblical worship • Why obedience is an act of worship • Why God requires holiness from His worshipers • The relationship between thanksgiving, praise, and worship • Why biblical study itself can become an act of devotion • How religious performance can replace genuine worship • Why worship must remain God-centered rather than man-centered • Cain, Nadab and Abihu, Saul, Uzziah, and unauthorized worship • The danger of "strange fire" in the modern Church • How true worship produces transformation and Christlikeness • Why worship and obedience are powerful components of spiritual warfare Mary Lou also discusses prayer, spiritual warfare, and the importance of recognizing that the heavens belong to Almighty God—not the powers of darkness. The episode opens with a call for believers to respond to spiritual opposition by declaring biblical truth and magnifying the Creator rather than fearing the enemy. Moral Therapeutic Deism Is Destroying Biblical Worship | The Hidden Crisis in the Modern Church (KIB 542)

Moral Therapeutic Deism Is Destroying Biblical Worship | The Hidden Crisis in the Modern Church (KIB 542) Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Description Is modern worship drawing believers closer to God—or subtly leading them away from biblical truth? In this Kingdom Intelligence Briefing, Dr. Michael Lake examines the growing influence of Moral Therapeutic Deism (MTD) and how it has quietly reshaped much of modern Christianity. While many churches emphasize emotional experiences, self-fulfillment, and entertainment, Scripture consistently calls believers to holiness, repentance, covenant faithfulness, and worship centered upon the glory of God. Mary Lou Lake also shares timely insights on heightened spiritual warfare in this season, encouraging believers to stand firm in prayer, declare God's Word, and remain steadfast in Christ, regardless of the increasing darkness surrounding us. This message challenges every believer to examine whether our worship has become consumer-driven or truly God-centered. In this episode, you'll discover: • The five core beliefs of Moral Therapeutic Deism • Why much of modern worship has become man-centered • The biblical foundation of true praise and worship • Why God's holiness—not our happiness—is the center of worship • How emotional experiences can replace genuine spiritual transformation • Why repentance and covenant faithfulness are disappearing from many churches • The importance of doctrinally sound worship music • Practical principles for discerning biblical worship • Encouragement for standing strong during seasons of increased spiritual warfare The Father is still seeking those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. Now is the time for the remnant to return to biblical worship rooted in the holiness, majesty, and lordship of Jesus Christ.
