Sermon | Blessed are the Gentle

The Blessed Life According to the Son, Pt. 2Blessed are the GentleMatthew 4:17, 23-25; 5:1-5 | King’s Chapel Live StreamWhat does true strength look like?In a world that celebrates self-promotion, power, and getting your own way, Jesus gives a surprising answer:"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth."Many people mistake meekness for weakness, but biblical meekness is something entirely different. It is strength under control. It is a heart that willingly submits to God's will, trusts God's Word, and rests in God's promises. In this message from the Sermon on the Mount, we continue our series through The Blessed Life According to the Son by examining the third Beatitude. Jesus teaches that the blessed life is marked by humility before God and gentleness toward others. The meek are content to trust the Lord rather than grasp for power, recognition, or control. The world tells us to fight for our place. Jesus tells us to trust Him with our future. The blessing of meekness is not merely a better attitude. It is the fruit of a life transformed by the Gospel and built upon Christ the Solid Rock.If you have ever struggled with pride, control, anger, or the pressure to prove yourself, this message points us to the freedom and blessing found in humble dependence upon God.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our Neighborblessed are the meek, Matthew 5:5 sermon, Sermon on the Mount, Beatitudes explained, biblical meekness, Christian humility, strength under control, trusting God's promises, Kingdom of Heaven sermon, King's Chapel Longwood FL

Sermon | Blessed are the Empty and Broken

The Blessed Life According to the Son, Pt. 1Blessed are the Empty and BrokenMatthew 4:17, 23-25; 5:1-4 | King’s Chapel Live StreamEveryone wants the blessed life.We pursue happiness, success, comfort, and fulfillment, believing that these things will finally satisfy us. Yet Jesus begins the Sermon on the Mount with a surprising declaration. The truly blessed are not the self-sufficient, the powerful, or the accomplished. The truly blessed are the poor in spirit and those who mourn. In this message, we begin a new journey through the Sermon on the Mount by exploring the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus came proclaiming the Kingdom, demonstrating its power, and calling people everywhere to repent and believe. The blessed life begins when we recognize our spiritual poverty before God. It begins when we stop trusting in ourselves and cling to Christ alone. It continues as we mourn over our sin and the brokenness of this fallen world, trusting in God's promise that His people will be comforted. The Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who know they need a Savior. If you are weary, burdened, broken, or searching for lasting hope, this message reminds us that true blessing is not found in self-sufficiency but in surrender to King Jesus.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our NeighborSermon on the Mount sermon, Matthew 5 sermon, Beatitudes explained, blessed are the poor in spirit, blessed are those who mourn, Kingdom of Heaven sermon, gospel of the kingdom, Christian hope and comfort, King's Chapel Longwood FL, Jesus Sermon on the Mount

Sermon | Ecclesiastes: The End of the Matter | June 7, 2026 Church Service

The Vanity of Life Under the Sun Without the Son, Pt. 16The End of the MatterEcclesiastes 12:9–14 | King’s Chapel Live StreamAfter sixteen chapters of searching, questioning, wrestling, and reflecting, Ecclesiastes arrives at its final conclusion. What is the meaning of life? What truly matters? What should we do with the days we've been given?Solomon has explored wealth, pleasure, wisdom, work, power, success, and every pursuit life under the sun has to offer. Again and again, he exposes the emptiness of looking for ultimate meaning in temporary things. But Ecclesiastes does not end in despair. It ends with a call to fear God and keep His commandments, because every deed matters and every life will one day stand before Him.In this message, we discover that everything matters because God is the Judge of all things. We see that the deepest emptiness of the human heart can only be filled by the fullness of God. And we are pointed to the One Shepherd whose words guide us, ground us, and ultimately lead us home. The good news of Ecclesiastes is not that we must find our way to God. The good news is that God has come to us in Jesus Christ. The Judge became the One judged for our sins. The Good Shepherd laid down His life for His sheep. At the end of the matter, life is not meaningless. Life finds its meaning in Him.If you've followed this journey through Ecclesiastes or if you're searching for purpose, hope, and lasting meaning, this message points us to the only One who truly satisfies.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our NeighborEcclesiastes 12 sermon, the end of the matter, fear God and keep His commandments, meaning of life Bible sermon, Good Shepherd sermon, purpose of life Christianity, Ecclesiastes conclusion, finding meaning in God, Jesus the Good Shepherd, King's Chapel Longwood FL

Sermon | Ecclesiastes: Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained | May 31, 2026 Church Service

The Vanity of Life Under the Sun Without the Son, Pt. 15Nothing Ventured, Nothing GainedEcclesiastes 11:1–12:8 | King’s Chapel Live StreamLife is filled with uncertainty. We make plans, weigh risks, and try to prepare for the future, but the truth is that much of life remains beyond our control. We don't know what tomorrow will bring, what opportunities may come our way, or how our decisions will ultimately turn out.Ecclesiastes confronts this reality head-on.In this message, Solomon calls us to live faithfully in the face of uncertainty. Rather than being paralyzed by fear or consumed by trying to control the future, we are invited to trust God and move forward in faith. We are reminded to live with God in our rear-view mirror, remembering that He will bring all things into judgment. We are called to live with God as our guide, recognizing how little we truly know about what lies ahead. And we are encouraged to live with God as our ultimate goal, remembering that every one of us is moving toward an eternal home. The book of Ecclesiastes does not promise certainty about tomorrow, but it does point us to the One who holds tomorrow in His hands. If you've ever wrestled with fear about the future, uncertainty about your next step, or questions about how to live wisely in an unpredictable world, this message offers both wisdom and hope.God may not reveal everything that lies ahead, but He has given us Himself. And that is enough to move forward in faith.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our NeighborEcclesiastes 11 sermon, Ecclesiastes 12 sermon, nothing ventured nothing gained sermon, trusting God with the future, Christian wisdom for uncertainty, living with eternity in view, faith and risk Bible, remember your Creator sermon, King's Chapel Longwood FL, Ecclesiastes series, biblical wisdom for life, Christian hope and purpose

Sermon | Ecclesiastes: Keep Calm and Carry On in a World Gone Mad | May 24, 2026 Church Service

The Vanity of Life Under the Sun Without the Son, Pt. 14Keep Calm and Carry On in a World Gone MadEcclesiastes 9:13–10:20 | King’s Chapel Live StreamThe world often feels noisy, chaotic, and completely upside down.Ecclesiastes reminds us that wisdom is better than strength, yet even a little foolishness can cause incredible damage. Under the sun, foolishness seems unavoidable. Corrupt leadership rises. Empty words spread quickly. People chase satisfaction in all the wrong places. And sometimes it feels like the world has lost its mind.So how are we supposed to live faithfully in a world like this?In this message, we are reminded to keep calm and carry on with a wise heart. Scripture calls us to avoid the path of foolishness and to remain steady even when life around us feels unstable. Most importantly, Ecclesiastes points us toward hope. Our confidence is not in human wisdom, political power, or our own efforts. Our hope is in Christ, our true and noble King.Jesus has already won the battle, and one day He will return to make all things right. Until then, we keep walking by faith, trusting that real satisfaction and lasting peace are found in Him alone. If you are tired of the chaos, discouraged by the world around you, or searching for steady ground to stand on, this message is a reminder to stay faithful, stay wise, and keep your eyes on the coming King. There was an internet outage during our live stream, so a few minutes of the sermon may be missing from the recording.Connect with King's Chapel - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our NeighborEcclesiastes 10 sermon, biblical wisdom for difficult times, Christian hope sermon, trusting God in chaos, keep calm and carry on sermon, King’s Chapel Longwood FL, wisdom vs foolishness Bible, return of Christ sermon

Sermon | Ecclesiastes: Living Among the Dead | May 17, 2026 Church Service

The Vanity of Life Under the Sun Without the Son, Pt. 13Living Among the DeadEcclesiastes 9:1–12 | King’s Chapel Live StreamEcclesiastes 9 confronts one of the hardest realities of life. Death touches everyone.Life under the sun often feels unfair, unjust, unpredictable, and unkind. The same struggles come to the wise and the foolish, the righteous and the unrighteous. No amount of wisdom, success, or effort can fully shield us from pain, loss, or uncertainty. This passage forces us to wrestle honestly with the brokenness of life in a fallen world. But Ecclesiastes does not leave us in despair. In the middle of life’s uncertainty, we are reminded of a deeper hope. God holds His people in His hands. God sets His favor on His people. And through His Son, we are given a hope stronger than death itself. This message points us beyond the futility of life under the sun to the joy and security found in Christ. While this world is temporary and fragile, those who belong to Jesus are never abandoned or forgotten. If you have been wrestling with fear, discouragement, suffering, or questions about the meaning of life, this sermon is a reminder that even in a broken world, there is lasting hope in the Son.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our NeighborEcclesiastes 9 sermon, hope in suffering sermon, life and death Bible teaching, meaning of life Ecclesiastes, hope in Christ sermon, King’s Chapel Longwood FL, biblical hope in hard times, God has us in His hands

Sermon | Ecclesiastes: Finding Peace of Mind Under the Sun | May 10, 2026 Church Service

The Vanity of Life Under the Sun Without the Son, Pt. 12Finding Peace of Mind Under the SunEcclesiastes 8:1–17 | King’s Chapel Live StreamPeace can feel hard to find in a world filled with uncertainty, frustration, and things we cannot control.Ecclesiastes 8 wrestles honestly with life under the sun. Earthly authority is imperfect. Life often feels unfair. The future remains unknown. And many of God’s ways remain beyond our understanding.Yet even in the middle of that tension, Scripture points us toward peace. In this message, we explore how peace of mind grows through wisely submitting to earthly authority, trusting in the sovereignty of God, and learning to find joy in the midst of life’s journey. We are reminded that while human wisdom has limits, God’s wisdom does not.Ecclesiastes also reminds us that true peace is not found in figuring everything out. It is found in fearing God, trusting His rule, and resting in the goodness of the life He has given us.Even when life feels confusing or heavy, there is still joy to be found in the Son under the sun.If you are feeling anxious, weary, or uncertain about what lies ahead, this message invites you to stop carrying what you were never meant to control and to rest in the peace of God.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our NeighborEcclesiastes 8 sermon, peace of mind Bible, trusting God in uncertainty, sovereignty of God sermon, finding joy in difficult times, King’s Chapel Longwood FL, biblical wisdom for anxiety, peace in Christ sermon

Sermon | Ecclesiastes: The Gospel According to Ecclesiastes | May 3, 2026 Church Service

The Vanity of Life Under the Sun Without the Son, Pt. 11The Gospel According to EcclesiastesEcclesiastes 7:15–29 | King’s Chapel Live StreamEcclesiastes is often seen as a book about confusion, tension, and unanswered questions. But underneath it all, there is a clear and powerful message. The gospel. In Ecclesiastes 7, we are reminded of how life began, what went wrong, and why we cannot fix it on our own.God made us upright. We were created in His image, without sin, with the ability to walk in righteousness. But we chose our own way. Our scheming brought brokenness into every part of life. Our hearts are broken. Our relationships are broken. Our world is broken. This passage also exposes the limits of human effort. We cannot fix what has been broken. We cannot bridge the gap between us and God. Even our attempts at righteousness fall short. And walking in wickedness only leads to more destruction. So where does that leave us?It leads us to the hope of the gospel. The fear of God is not about distance. It is about rightly seeing Him, trusting Him, and turning to Him. The good news is that what we could not restore, God has provided through Christ. Where we failed, Jesus was faithful. Where we are broken, He brings restoration. This message invites us to stop trusting ourselves and to place our hope fully in the One who makes all things new.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our NeighborEcclesiastes 7 sermon, gospel in Ecclesiastes, human brokenness Bible, righteousness and sin sermon, King’s Chapel Longwood FL, meaning of life Ecclesiastes, fear of God teaching, need for salvation sermon
