Sermon | Ecclesiastes: Time and Eternity | March 8, 2026 Church Service

The Vanity of Life Under the Sun Without the Son, Pt. 5Time and EternityEcclesiastes 3:1-15 | King’s Chapel Live StreamLife often feels like a series of changing seasons. There are times of joy and times of sorrow. Times of building and times of loss. Times when life feels clear and times when it feels confusing.Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us that none of these seasons are random. God governs time itself. Every season of life unfolds under His wisdom and care.In this message, we reflect on how God meets us in the reality of time. He governs our seasons, giving us peace when life feels uncertain. He redeems our time by stepping into history through Jesus, bringing meaning and joy to what might otherwise feel fleeting. And because God stands outside of time, we have hope that our lives are held within His eternal purposes.Scripture also tells us that God has placed eternity in the human heart. We long for something lasting because we were made for something more than the passing moments of life under the sun. When we trust the One who holds time in His hands, our perspective changes. Even the ordinary rhythms of life become reminders that God is at work, shaping our days and guiding our story toward His good purposes. Sermon | Ecclesiastes: Despair to Joy | March 1, 2026 Church Service

The Vanity of Life Under the Sun Without the Son, Pt. 4Despair to JoyEcclesiastes 2:2-26 | King’s Chapel Live StreamWhat happens when even wisdom cannot protect you from death? When hard work does not guarantee lasting reward? When both the wise and the fool share the same fate?In Ecclesiastes 2, Solomon reflects on the limits of wisdom, achievement, and effort. He admits that wisdom is better than folly and light is better than darkness. Yet even the wise are forgotten. Even the diligent lose what they have built. Even the careful planner cannot escape death. The result is heartbreak and despair under the sun. This message wrestles honestly with the futility of life when viewed apart from God. The Preacher confesses that he gave his heart to despair over all his labor. Many of us know that feeling. We work, strive, build, and pursue, yet still sense something slipping through our fingers. But Ecclesiastes does not end in despair. It shifts toward gift. Life, food, work, joy, and satisfaction are not things we manufacture. They are gifts from the hand of God. When life is received from the Son rather than chased under the sun, everything changes.Even the longing expressed in songs like Roll Away Your Stone echoes this reality. We try to fill the fragile places in our souls with things that cannot hold. Yet grace welcomes us again and again. It is not the long walk home that changes the heart. It is the welcome we receive. If you have felt the weight of futility or questioned whether your work really matters, this message invites you to stop striving for control and begin receiving life as a gift from God.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our NeighborEcclesiastes 2 sermon, futility of life Bible, meaning of work sermon, despair and hope Ecclesiastes, King’s Chapel Longwood FL, life as a gift from God, wisdom and death sermon, biblical view of success and failure

Sermon | Ecclesiastes: The Vanity of Worldly Pleasure | February 22, 2026 Church Service

The Vanity of Life Under the Sun Without the Son, Pt. 3The Vanity of Worldly PleasureEcclesiastes 2:1-11 | King’s Chapel Live StreamWhat if “living the dream” is not the dream we thought it would be?In Ecclesiastes 2, Solomon sets out to test pleasure. Laughter, possessions, accomplishments, experiences. He holds nothing back. If pleasure could satisfy the human heart, Solomon would have found it. And yet his conclusion is sobering. Under the sun, even the best experiences leave us empty. In this message, we explore the vanity of worldly pleasure and the limits of hedonism. We reflect on how modern ideas of success and the American dream echo Solomon’s experiment. No achievement, possession, or experience can fill a heart made for eternity.Scripture reminds us that our hearts are deceitful and restless. God has placed eternity within us, which means we were created for something more than temporary satisfaction. The issue is not that we long too deeply, but that we often pursue too little.True joy is not found in squeezing everything we can out of this world. It is found in glorifying God and enjoying Him forever. When our hearts are rightly ordered, pleasure is no longer ultimate. God is.If you have ever chased something you thought would satisfy you only to find it did not last, this message invites you to consider a deeper and more lasting joy in Christ.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our NeighborEcclesiastes 2 sermon, vanity of pleasure, living the dream sermon, biblical view of success, King’s Chapel Longwood FL, meaning of life Bible, hedonism and Christianity, joy in God sermon, American dream biblical perspective

Sermon | Ecclesiastes: The Vanity of Worldly Wisdom | February 15, 2026 Church Service

The Vanity of Life Under the Sun Without the Son, Pt. 2The Vanity of Worldly WisdomEcclesiastes 1:12-18 | King’s Chapel Live StreamWe live in an age overflowing with information. Knowledge is everywhere. Technology is advancing rapidly. Artificial intelligence can process more data than any human mind ever could. And yet the deepest questions of the human heart remain unanswered. In Ecclesiastes 1, Solomon explores the limits of worldly wisdom. He pursued knowledge, understanding, and insight, only to discover that wisdom under the sun cannot restore what has been lost or heal what has been broken. In this message, we consider how modern forms of wisdom, including artificial intelligence, still fall short. Worldly wisdom cannot recover our lost relationship with God. It cannot repair the damage of sin. It cannot satisfy the deep longings of our hearts. No amount of information can replace redemption. This sermon also offers practical guidance for living wisely in a technological age. Be aware, but do not be afraid. Use tools, but do not depend on them for what only God can provide. Artificial systems may process knowledge, but only the living God transforms hearts. As we continue our Ecclesiastes series, we are reminded that true wisdom is not found merely in accumulated knowledge. It is found in reverence for God, trust in His Word, and dependence on His Spirit.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our NeighborEcclesiastes 1 sermon, vanity of wisdom, biblical view of artificial intelligence, meaning of life Bible, King’s Chapel Longwood FL, limits of worldly wisdom, AI and Christianity sermon, wisdom under the sun, purpose in Christ

Sermon | Ecclesiastes pt . 1 | The Vanity of Our Toils Under the Sun | February 8, 2026 Church Service

The Vanity of Life Under the Sun Without the Son, Pt. 1Our Toils Under the SunEcclesiastes 1:1–11, 12:13 | King’s Chapel Live StreamEcclesiastes begins with an honest and sobering observation about life. Apart from God, everything feels fleeting, repetitive, and unsatisfying. Solomon looks at the world under the sun and concludes that chasing meaning apart from the Lord leaves us empty. In this message, we explore why Solomon wrote Ecclesiastes and what he learned through a lifetime of wisdom, success, and reflection. He shows us that under the sun, nothing is ultimately gained, nothing is truly new, and nothing is permanently remembered. Life lived apart from God cannot deliver the meaning we are searching for.But Ecclesiastes does not end in despair. When life is viewed through the lens of the Son, everything changes. In Christ, nothing is wasted. We are made new. We are known, remembered, and deeply loved by God.This sermon invites us to consider where we are looking for meaning and reminds us that true purpose, joy, and fulfillment are found only when our lives are anchored in reverence for God and trust in Him.If you have ever felt the weight of emptiness or wondered what really matters, this message points us to the hope found not under the sun, but in the Son.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our NeighborEcclesiastes sermon, vanity of life, meaning of life Bible, King’s Chapel Longwood FL, life under the sun, purpose in Christ, biblical wisdom teaching, Solomon Ecclesiastes, life without God sermon

Sermon | The Power of God’s Word | February 1, 2026 Church Service

Unlocking Scripture, Pt. 4The Power of God’s WordHebrews 4:12–13 | King’s Chapel Live StreamGod’s Word is not something we just study. It is something that works on us.Hebrews 4 tells us that the Word of God is living and active. It speaks into real life, into real struggles, and into the places we often try to keep hidden. Scripture is not distant or outdated. It meets us right where we are and reveals what is happening in our hearts. In this message, we look at how God’s Word has the power to create and to confront. It forms faith, shapes obedience, and brings clarity where things feel confusing. Like a sharp blade, it cuts through surface level answers and gets to what truly matters. This passage also reminds us that nothing in our lives is hidden from God. Yet that truth is not meant to scare us. It is meant to draw us closer to Him. The same Word that exposes also invites us into grace, repentance, and transformation. As we continue our Unlocking Scripture series, this message invites us to stop keeping God’s Word at arm’s length and to let it search us, shape us, and lead us more deeply into life with Christ.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our Neighborpower of God’s Word, Hebrews 4 sermon, living and active Word, Bible teaching church, King’s Chapel Longwood FL, Scripture and the heart, God’s Word transforms lives, unlocking Scripture series

Sermon | Guest Preacher: Dr. Jim Coffield - The Attunement | January 25, 2026 Church Service

The AttunementHebrews 4:14–16Guest Preacher Dr. Jim Coffield | King’s Chapel Live StreamGod cares deeply about His connection with us.In Hebrews 4, we are reminded that Jesus is not distant or detached from our struggles. He is our great High Priest who sympathizes with our weaknesses because He was tempted in every way just as we are, yet without sin. Jesus understands our pain, our fears, and our need for help.In this message, Dr. Jim Coffield explores the idea of attunement and how God lovingly connects Himself with His people. Jesus invites us to hold fast to Him, especially when life feels heavy or overwhelming. He also invites us to come boldly to His throne, not in fear or shame, but with confidence. At the throne of grace, we find exactly what we need. Mercy for our failures and grace for our present struggles. Jesus does not push us away in our weakness. He welcomes us, listens to us, and meets us with compassion and care.If you are walking through a season where you need help, encouragement, or reassurance of God’s nearness, this message points you to the Savior who understands and invites you to draw near.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our NeighborHebrews 4 sermon, Jesus our High Priest, grace and mercy sermon, God’s compassion, King’s Chapel Longwood FL, holding fast to Jesus, throne of grace teaching, sympathy of Christ, guest preacher sermon

Sermon | The Usefulness of God’s Word | January 18, 2026 Church Service

Unlocking Scripture, Pt. 3The Usefulness of God’s Word2 Timothy 3:14–17 | King’s Chapel Live StreamGod did not give us His Word merely to inform us. He gave it to form us.In 2 Timothy 3, Paul reminds us that Scripture is useful in every season of life. God’s Word gives us a godly heritage, makes us wise for salvation, and equips us to live faithfully for Him. What we believe, how we grow, and how we live are all shaped by the truth God has revealed. This message explores how Scripture shapes generations through faithful teaching, reveals the holiness of God and the sinfulness of man, and leads us to salvation in Christ alone through faith alone. Because Scripture is God breathed, it is authoritative, trustworthy, and sufficient for everything we need to follow Christ.God’s Word also equips us for godly living. It teaches us, corrects us, trains us, and prepares us to walk faithfully in the work God has given us to do. Scripture does not merely guide us. It completes us and equips us for every good work.If you are wondering how the Bible applies to everyday life or why it matters so deeply for faith and growth, this message reminds us that God’s Word is both necessary and life shaping.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our Neighborusefulness of God’s Word, 2 Timothy 3 sermon, Bible equips believers, King’s Chapel Longwood FL, Scripture for godly living, God breathed Scripture, Bible authority and sufficiency, Christian growth through Scripture, unlocking Scripture series
