You have my vote. 👏Thank you for your service to Michigan. I am happy you put a spotlight on the UP’s rural hospitals closing and our dentist crisis. It takes months to get any dental care.

This is such a strong podcast. Reliable health information with thoughtful conversation and engaging hosts. Re this episode, there are many dangers of this RFK Jr ACIP Committee. Their entire attitude toward vaccines is skeptical. So regardless of the final vote, they send a very negative message about vaccine safety. I was shocked at the shoddy way the information was presented and discussed at the meeting. For example, they prohibited use of MMRV prior to age 4. It may only impact 15% of children, but they had no analysis of the impact of this change. Previously, ACIP would do an in depth look at the equity of that decision. Who will be most impacted. Certain groups? Rural? Access limitations? Cost differences? The RFK Jr Committee simply gave no consideration to the public health implications of their vote. So irresponsible. And so privileged.

Love this show, I get so much out of it health wise. But even more it can be uplifting to listen to someone who genuinely cares about us🥰
