Knock on Parenthood

I love listening to Courtney and Stephen’s podcast driving to and from work. They are so relatable and a down to earth couple. I am a HELLP/preeclampsia survivor, and my son died at 28+4 weeks. Our stories are different, but it’s comforting to listen to others who have had such traumatic birth experiences. It’s helps me feel less alone.

I didn’t realize how much people compare themselves to others on social media and idolize themselves as having to have the perfect ___, etc. It’s interesting to see how people have different experiences with parenthood and expectations leading up to it.
