#172 What an Ex-Pfizer Scientist Learned About the System | Justin Leslie

What happens when questioning one institution leads you to question the entire system? Justin Leslie is a former Pfizer formulation scientist who worked on COVID-19 vaccine projects before becoming an undercover investigative journalist with Project Veritas. But Pfizer was only the beginning. In this episode, Justin shares what he says he witnessed, what happened when he entered the world of undercover journalism, and why he eventually began questioning not only mainstream institutions, but some of the people and organizations claiming to expose them. We go down some serious rabbit holes involving medicine, media, science, Project Veritas, Bohemian Grove, institutional power, and the question at the center of it all: Who do you trust when everyone claims to be telling you the truth? We also explore the personal cost of Justin's journey and how, through it all, he ultimately found his way back to Jesus. #171 Worms for Crohn's? The Therapy No One Talks About with Kyla

What if some of the organisms we've been taught to eradicate might actually play a role in regulating the human immune system? Autumn is sitting down with Kyla of Let's Heal IBD to explore one of the most unconventional therapies we've discussed yet: helminthic therapy, the controlled introduction of specific intestinal worms. After years of living with severe Crohn's disease, Kyla had endured chronic diarrhea, bleeding, extreme food intolerances, vomiting, multiple surgeries, abscesses, a fistula, and periods when simply eating became incredibly difficult. She tried dietary changes, stress reduction, meditation, yoga, and other approaches, but says her health continued to deteriorate.  Then she discovered helminthic therapy. Kyla shares why she decided to intentionally introduce specific species of intestinal worms into her body, what happened over the following months, and how she eventually reached clinical remission from Crohn's disease, according to her medical testing. In this episode, we discuss: What helminthic therapy actually is Why not every organism classified as a "parasite" behaves the same way The proposed relationship between helminths and immune regulation How modern sanitation may have changed our exposure to intestinal worms Kyla's 13-year journey with Crohn's disease Her experience with surgeries, abscesses, fistulas, food intolerances, bleeding, and chronic digestive symptoms Why dietary changes alone did not resolve her Crohn's symptoms The specific helminths used therapeutically How helminths are introduced into the body  Why Kyla believes modern humans may be missing an important piece of their ancestral gut ecosystem Resources Mentioned  Helminthic Therapy Wiki A community-created resource for information and personal experiences surrounding helminthic therapy.  Helminthic Therapy Facebook Support Group A community where people interested in helminthic therapy share experiences and resources. Kyla also offers a free Helminthic Therapy How-To Guide through her Let's Heal IBD platform. #169 Trusting God in the Unseen with Dr. Joel Muddamalle

What if the greatest spiritual battles in your life aren't the obvious ones? What if the enemy's most effective strategy isn't fear or chaos—but subtle conditioning that slowly shapes what you normalize, desire, and depend upon without ever realizing it? In this thought-provoking conversation, Dr. Joel Muddamalle challenges some of the most common assumptions Christians have about spiritual warfare, while exploring the deeper connection between stewardship, relationships, suffering, healing, and spiritual formation. Together, we wrestle with questions many believers quietly carry: • Are we mistaking shortcuts for God's best? • How do we discern healthy stewardship from unhealthy dependence? • When is a relationship no longer moving toward repentance and restoration? • What role do childhood wounds really play in our adult relationships? • How do we continue trusting God when healing feels delayed and prayers seem unanswered? If you've ever wrestled with disappointment, difficult relationships, confusing seasons, or wondered how God is shaping you through the process instead of simply rescuing you from it, this conversation will leave you thinking long after it ends. 👤 Dr. Joel Muddamalle is a theologian, Bible teacher, and Director of Theology and Research at Proverbs 31 Ministries, where he helps make deep biblical truth practical for everyday life. He co-hosts the Therapy & Theology podcast with Lysa TerKeurst and Jim Cress and is the author of The Unseen Battle and The Hidden Peace, equipping believers to better understand Scripture, spiritual warfare, and the life-changing power of biblical theology. #168 What Makes Food Truly Healthy? | Graham Honig, Founder of TALO Organic

What actually makes food truly healthy? Is it the ingredients, the way it was grown, how the animal was raised, what it was stored in, or how it was prepared? In this episode, Autumn sits down with Graham Honig, founder of TALO Organic, a company that was born from one simple frustration: he and his wife couldn't find a restaurant they trusted to feed their own family. Instead of settling, they built one! Today, TALO Organic has become known for its uncompromising standards, looking far beyond labels like "organic" to examine every step of the process, from regenerative farming and ingredient sourcing to cookware, food storage, cutting boards, cooking oils, and even the smallest details most restaurants never consider. What began as a small pop-up has grown into a thriving company with a delivery and takeout location in Venice Beach, California, a fresh meal delivery service throughout Southern California, and plans to continue expanding into communities across the U.S. Their mission is simple: make truly nourishing food more accessible without compromising quality.  But this conversation isn't just about one restaurant. It's about understanding the hidden decisions that shape the food we eat every day.  In this episode, you'll discover: • Why food preparation matters just as much as food ingredients • The hidden compromises happening behind the scenes of modern food production • What "clean eating" really means beyond the organic label • Why regenerative agriculture and thoughtful sourcing matter • The philosophy that has shaped every decision behind TALO Organic • Why Graham believes we've accepted chronic illness and declining health as "normal" Whether TALO Organic is in your hometown yet or not, this conversation will change the way you think about the journey your food takes before it ever reaches your plate, and leave you asking better questions every time you sit down for a meal. If this episode challenged the way you think about food, be sure to subscribe, leave a review, and share it with someone who wants to make more informed choices about what they eat. ✴️ Connect with Talo Organic on Facebook or Instagram     🔥 Own Your Wellness Revolution 🔥 Ready to ditch the status quo and reclaim your health?  Here's how to start: 🗓️ Snag a FREE 30-Minute Strategy Call Book your one-on-one with Autumn and map out your path to a stronger, freer you.  🌀 Shop Smarter, Live Cleaner Check out the 'Know Better | Do Better' Amazon Storefront for handpicked gear to fuel your healthy rebellion.  🛒 Grab the FREE Clean Swap Guide Download now and swap out the junk for healthier alternatives—no excuses.  📧  Join the 'Know Better | Do Better' Newsletter for exclusive guest drops, insider tips, and subscriber-only fire—hit subscribe!  🌟 Link Up with Autumn Stay in the loop and join the tribe:  Instagram  Facebook TikTok

#166 The Terrain Theory of Healing | Nicholas Leach

What if your symptoms are not the enemy? What if they are signals? In this week's episode of the Know Better | Do Better podcast, Autumn sits down with Nicholas Leach, a terrain-based naturopathic practitioner who helps people uncover the deeper patterns behind chronic and complex health struggles. This conversation takes a different look at healing. Instead of seeing symptoms as something to suppress, fight, or fear, Nicholas invites us to understand the body as intelligently designed, adaptive, and constantly working to return to balance. Together, Autumn and Nicholas explore terrain-based healing, the difference between fighting symptoms and understanding them, and why true health often requires looking at the whole person, including the mind, body, environment, lifestyle, and spirit. Inside this conversation: • Why symptoms may be messages, not mistakes • How terrain-based healing differs from conventional and functional medicine • Why fear can keep the body stuck in stress • The role of sunlight, sleep, breath, water, movement, and food • Why purpose, joy, and meaning matter in healing • How toxicity and deficiency can shape the terrain • Why chronic symptoms may require a deeper look at lifestyle and environment • What it means to stop fighting the body and start supporting it If you have ever felt like your body is broken, this conversation may help you see it differently. Maybe your body is not betraying you. Maybe it has been communicating all along.  ✴️ Connect with Nicholas on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube     🔥 Own Your Wellness Revolution 🔥 Ready to ditch the status quo and reclaim your health?

#165 Waking Up Again: Tim Timmons on Faith, Cancer & Living Beyond the Diagnosis

Twenty-five years ago, Tim Timmons was diagnosed with stage 4 incurable liver cancer and told he had five years to live. Today, he is still here. But this episode isn't just about terminal illness. It is about what happens to your faith when life does not make sense. When prayers do not get answered the way you hoped. When fear feels louder than trust. When grief and gratitude have to learn how to sit in the same room. In this deeply honest conversation, Tim shares what it has looked like to walk with God through uncertainty, suffering, humor, disappointment, and hope. His perspective is raw, refreshing, and deeply needed for anyone who has ever wrestled with God, questioned His goodness, or wondered how to keep believing when life feels fragile. This is not polished, religious talk. This is faith lived in the middle of real pain. In this episode, you'll discover: • The one perspective that completely changed Tim's relationship with suffering. • Why one sentence from his doctor didn't become the end of his story. • The unexpected place where faith is often strengthened instead of lost. • A simple shift that may change the way you view your hardest season. • Why some of the questions you've been afraid to ask God might be the very ones He wants you to bring. • The surprising connection between grief, gratitude, and genuine peace. • One daily practice that has transformed how Tim lives, regardless of what tomorrow holds. • A perspective on hardship that may completely reshape the way you see your own story. If your faith feels tired, shaken, distant, or hungry for something real, this conversation is for you. Tim's story is a reminder that God is not asking you to have it all figured out. He is inviting you to come closer.  **Don't miss Tim's story portrayed in the film "I Can Only Imagine 2" 🎧 Listen to Tim's Podcast HERE. ✴️ Connect with Tim on Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram 📖 Grab Tim's book HERE.    🔥 Own Your Wellness Revolution 🔥 Ready to ditch the status quo and reclaim your health?
