You can find the sermon on our youtube site  https://www.youtube.com/@bpfcWhy "know Surrender" it is taken from a pamphlet I was given some years back and is a play on words. "No Surrender" is of course a well know phrase  but to "know Surrender" that is to surrender your self to the Lord Jesus, the Christ is more than a well known phrase. It is the key to eternal life.

The Pillars of the Gospel: Crucified, Risen, and Ascended

Send us Fan Mail We discuss a theological examination of the Nicene Creed, specifically focusing on the historical reality and spiritual significance of Jesus Christ’s suffering, death, and resurrection. The texts argue that the gospel is rooted in factual events witnessed by many, rather than mere metaphors or myths, serving as the essential anchor of Christian assurance. Central to this perspective is the doctrine of substitutionary atonement, where Christ’s sacrifice is viewed as the necessary payment to satisfy divine justice and reconcile humanity with God. By detailing his burial and ascension, the author emphasises that these milestones form a protective wall for the church, preserving the integrity of the faith against modern theological erosion. Ultimately, the materials present these scriptural truths as the beating heart of a believer's hope, ensuring that salvation remains a finished work of divine grace rather than human effort. Welcome to Know Surrender—a podcast about learning what it truly means to surrender to Jesus Christ. Not in defeat, but in devotion. Here we explore scripture, history, and the call to follow Christ with heart, mind, and life. To know surrender… is to know Him. The Hinge of Salvation: The Mystery of the Incarnation

Send us Fan Mail We  examine the theological significance of the Incarnation, focusing on the belief that Jesus Christ is simultaneously fully divine and fully human. These texts argue that this dual nature is a fundamental necessity for salvation, as only a sinless human could represent mankind, while only God possessed the power to overcome the weight of sin. Central to this miracle is the interaction between divine initiative and human response, highlighted by the Holy Spirit’s overshadowing of Mary and her willing consent. Furthermore, the documents suggest that because God took on physical form, every aspect of human life is validated, healed, and given a new pattern for holy living. Ultimately, the sources present the Incarnation not merely as an abstract doctrine, but as the essential hinge of the Christian faith that reconciles humanity with the Creator. The Descent of the Saviour for Human Redemption

Send us Fan Mail In this podcast we examine the theological significance of the Nicene Creed’s declaration that Jesus Christ descended from heaven for the sake of human salvation. They emphasise that because humanity is inherently fallen and incapable of self-rescue, the incarnation represents a deliberate act of divine grace rather than a response to human effort. This pre-existence confirms that Christ is the eternal Son, whose voluntary humility in taking on human form provides a bridge between a holy God and a sinful world. Furthermore, the texts present this doctrine as a protective barrier against various heresies, such as the false beliefs that Jesus was merely a moral teacher or that salvation can be earned. By defining the scope of this mission as being for all people, the documents clarify that while the need for rescue is universal, the work itself remains exclusively a divine achievement. Consequently, the incarnation is framed as the essential foundation of the Gospel, ensuring that the Creator remains near and compassionate to His creation. The Eternal Son: Begotten Not Made

Send us Fan Mail  We examine the theological weight of the Nicene Creed’s declarations regarding the eternal nature of Jesus Christ. By distinguishing between being "begotten" and "made," the texts argue that Christ is not a created being but shares the exact divine essence as the Father. This shared substance, or homoousios, establishes His total equality in nature and worship, which the authors view as a necessary shield against various historical and modern heresies. The documents maintain that if Christ were merely a creature, He would lack the divine power required to reconcile humanity to God and grant eternal life. Furthermore, they assert that while His divinity makes salvation possible, His human nature is what makes that rescue complete. Ultimately, these excerpts present the Creed as a protective wall that ensures believers put their trust in a true, uncreated Saviour rather than a powerless substitute. I believe in One Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son

Send us Fan Mail  We examine the Christological foundations of the Nicene Creed, specifically focusing on the declaration of Jesus Christ as the "only-begotten Son of God." The text presents this confession not as a human invention, but as a protective wall that preserves the biblical gospel against ancient and modern distortions. By exploring titles such as "Lord" and "Christ," the author emphasizes Jesus’s divine nature, eternal existence, and unique relationship with the Father. The study distinguishes Christ’s eternal sonship from the status of Adam or adopted believers, arguing that his deity is indispensable for human salvation. Ultimately, the material serves as a theological guide to ensure that the Church maintains a scriptural understanding of Jesus as both fully man and fully God. The Foundation of Faith: God as Maker of All Things

Send us Fan Mail In this podcase we dicuss if the doctrine of God as Creator serves as the indispensable theological foundation for the entire Christian faith. By affirming that the universe is an intentional divine work rather than an accident, the texts argue that the gospel’s message of sin and redemption only makes sense within the context of a created order. This belief acts as a protective wall against modern errors like materialism and nihilism, while simultaneously defining the human role as one of stewardship and dependence. Furthermore, the sources suggest that the deity of Christ and the necessity of the resurrection are logically tied to God's identity as the Maker of all things. Ultimately, acknowledging one's status as a creature is presented as a means of establishing inherent dignity and grounding a life of purposeful worship. The Nicene Foundation: One God and Father Almighty

Send us Fan Mail We discuss  a recorded sermon and its written transcript focusing on the foundational opening of the Nicene Creed. By examining Genesis 1, the text establishes that monotheism and the sovereignty of God as the sole creator are the essential bedrocks of Christian theology. The materials explain that identifying God as both "Father" and "Almighty" offers believers a sense of personal relationship combined with the security of an all-powerful protector. This theological framework is presented as a protective wall that defends the faith against modern distractions like idolatry, secularism, and existential fear. Ultimately, the sources argue that without accepting this initial confession of a supreme Creator, all subsequent religious doctrines lose their structural integrity. The Legacy of Jacob and the Faith of Joseph

Send us Fan Mail  In this episode explore the conclusion of the book of Genesis, focusing on the deaths of Jacob and Joseph and the theological significance of their final years in Egypt. They highlight how Joseph exercised divine sovereignty to forgive his brothers, choosing to view their past betrayal as a necessary part of God’s plan to preserve their lineage. While the patriarchs adopted Egyptian funeral rites, such as embalming and formal mourning, they remained spiritually distinct by insisting on burial in the Promised Land. Joseph’s refusal to seek retribution demonstrates his belief that justice belongs to God, allowing him to offer mercy and provide for his family. Ultimately, his instructions regarding his bones serve as a prophetic witness to his faith that God would eventually lead the Israelites back to Canaan. Through these narratives, the texts emphasize themes of redemption, the providence of God over human malice, and the identity of the patriarchs as faithful pilgrims.
