This podcast is wonderful and provides so much practical information. As a caregiver for my dad, there are so many ideas that can help me better care for him. They cover everything from oral care to legal issues. The episodes are short, clear, and to the point. I’m grateful there is someone out there who understands the needs we have as caregivers and is willing to share their knowledge and wisdom. Thank you!

The Knowledge for Caregivers Podcast, hosted by Kathy Cocks, is devoted to helping caregivers of aging adults navigate the daily challenges they face. Kathy’s years of experience as a nurse and child of aging adult parents enable her to understand the trials and tribulations faced by families. She addresses a broad array of issues on her podcast, such as the Senior Driving Dilemma, the nutritional activity needs of aging adults, choosing a long-term care facility and physical activity to reduce fall risk, to name a few. She clearly prepares by reading and familiarizes herself with her guests prior to her guest interview. Her podcast is a worthwhile addition for caregivers and family members of aging adults.
