Overcoming Cultural Shock - With Capt. Tetevi Torsoo (US ARMY)

𝐒𝐢𝐩 𝐬𝐢𝐩 𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐲! fam!  I'm thrilled to announce that Episode Two of Koffee with Kofi is live and ready for your listening pleasure. In this episode, I had the privilege of speaking with Captain Tetevi Torsoo of the US Army, who shares his incredible journey of cultural adaptation and overcoming.  Captain Torsoo immigrated to the US and faced some major cultural shocks that he could never have imagined. In this clip, he talks about how looking an elder in the eyes in his home country would be considered disrespectful, while in the US culture,  not doing so is perceived as a sign of disrespect and carelessness.  It's just one example of the kinds of challenges that he faced and the insights he gained during his journey. I don't want to give too much away, but this episode contains eye-opening stories and lessons learned.  It's a powerful reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of being open to new perspectives and experiences. So, grab a cup of koffee or tea and give Episode Two of Koffee with Kofi a listen.  You won't be disappointed.  And, if you like what you hear, be sure to subscribe and  leave me a review - it helps me reach more people and share these amazing stories of overcoming. Thanks for tuning in, and as always, 𝐬𝐢𝐩 𝐬𝐢𝐩 𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐲!🎉 #KoffeewithKofi #KwK #StoriesofOvercoming #CulturalShock #USArmy #Podcast
