    The Detour Was Never the Destination

    Not everything that catches our attention is bad—but even something good can become a distraction when it pulls us away from the path God has assigned. In this episode of K’s Essence, Karen Wright Fairley uses the imagery of walking along country roads and city streets to explore how seemingly harmless attractions, opportunities, relationships, and responsibilities can gradually lead us away from God’s direction. Yet no matter how far we wander, we are never beyond His reach. Discover how to recognize spiritual detours, surrender distractions, and listen for God’s voice saying, “This is the way, walk ye in it.” The detour does not have to become your destination—God knows exactly how to lead you back.
