Lab Sixty Three is a podcast about identity, creativity, and the stories that make people who they are. Each episode shines a light on interesting individuals - artists, makers, thinkers, entrepreneurs, and everyday people doing things their own way. Through relaxed conversations, we explore the moments that shaped them, the ideas they live by, the work they care about, and the parts of their story that usually stay behind the scenes. Some episodes come from Spotlight Days - immersive sessions where we document someone’s craft, creativity, and perspective through film, photography, and conversation. Alongside the guest episodes, I also share solo episodes - personal reflections, experiences, lessons, and ideas on identity, confidence, and what makes me tick. In this solo episode, I break down how those internal stories quietly shape everything. A lot of us don’t fail because we’re not good enough - we fail because we keep repeating the same narrative:  “I’m not that guy.”  “It never works for me.”  “I’ll start when things calm down.”  And over time, we build a life that matches the story. This episode is about spotting the script, challenging it, and choosing a better one - not through motivation… but through honesty and repetition.     14. They say you should never meet your heroes

    Send a text People say “never meet your heroes.” I actually think you should. Because the moment you meet them, you realise something important: they’re not made of different stuff. They’re normal people - with normal insecurities, normal moods, normal "off days". The “hero” version is often a persona… switched on when the lights are on. In this solo episode, I break down why meeting your heroes can be weirdly freeing, because it removes the pedestal, closes the gap, and reminds you that what you admire in them is something you can build in yourself. We also get into something most people ignore: energy management. The ability to regulate your state, protect your energy, and then turn it on when it matters - when you’re leading, creating, showing up for your family, or stepping into a room that needs you at your best. Because the real goal isn’t to worship people from a distance. It’s to learn how to become the person you respect.
