Latest on Jarred Vanderbilt, Jamal Murray; Nuggets Messed Around, Are They Gonna Find Out?
The Lakers might be getting some extra help and Denver might be a little nervous a key player's health. Anthony offers up the latest on Jarred Vanderbilt, Christian Wood and Jamal Murray. He once again mentions why you shouldn't play extra playoff games if you can avoid them. From there, he dives headfirst into his take on team building, and why the Suns falling on their face hammered home why he doesn't want the Lakers to move heaven and earth for just any third star this summer.

Customer Reviews
Consistent, opinionated, slightly cringe
I enjoy this show. They consistently upload, share their opinion on games, etc
Anthony’s rebranding as a “Laker Insider” can feel cringe for long time viewers that know him as a super fan. Especially because it’s so forward and consistently mentioned, like he has some contractural agreement to mention it on every show. He pushed some pretty poorly researched breaking news regarding injuries that almost immediately got debunked.
I understand his employment probably stipulated this, and I’m not about to fault a dude for trying to get his money. But it does degrade the quality of the show, which in all other elements brand itself as a show from fans for fans.
This is why you don’t risk it and win when you can
I understand yours and Harrison’s take about tanking the 7-8 play in game but it’s good that the Lakers won it because you can see that AD’s back was still bothering him and he wasn’t himself mobility wise and them winning the game vs the Pels bought him extra days to rest up. He would’ve only had a couple days to heal up the back and then be playing on Friday. Same for LeBron, he was getting gassed midway through the 4th. Another reason why you want Denver early is that is when you’ll have both LBJ & AD rested and at their max and not beat up after going already a round or two.
Pelicans’ Choice
Hey, Anthony, Not my first review, but as always, the best Lakers pod out there; love it.
The other day you were discussing whether the Pelicans should take the Lakers’ pick now or next year. One thing that the Pelicans need to consider is that if they wait, the Lakers will have 3 first rounders to trade, so if they make a trade either for a third star or just to acquire more talent (hopefully young talent), that may vault them up the standings next year, making the pick a lot less valuable.
Just a thought.
