    Phoenix Poet ~ Padma Parija

    It is tremendously painful to let go of memories, photographs, items your younger self never could have lived without, dreams, and people. But it is a step that takes you closer to the person you are meant to be, it takes you closer to the future you are meant to have. Trust the process and never stop believing in the power you have. You were, you are, you shall always be the best friend you never thought you deserve. I shall take your leave now but I'll be dropping in with another season of better content which heals all of us. You make me happy. Thank you.

    Faithfully lost // Padma Parija

    If it is dark, there shall be light soon. It might sound preachy but take it from someone who lives in a deep-seated alley probably in only a groove of her mind, who rises from the ashes only to burn vigorously again, I see hope at the end of the tunnel. I see the light at the end of this tunnel. I'm moving towards it. I know you're trying to move towards it too. I'm here to tell you that you don't need to do it alone. We got this. We sure as hell do.

    10 Things I Tell Myself Every Night

    It is easy to give up, difficult to hold on. I have always struggled to be there for myself. On most days it gets hard for me to focus and love myself because I try to be there for everyone no matter how broken I feel, and I guess that needs to change. This is a list I keep repeating to myself every night, and truth be told, I've been healing ever since. Take care of yourselves, cuties. You deserve it.

    The Morning After I Killed Myself // Padma Parija

    Poetry flows and streams down my face as I recall the anguish that resides in all of our lives and hearts. I know sometimes the pain gets unbearable. I know sometimes you wish for a moment of peace. I know sometimes you get tired of waiting for a dawn that you're sure will never arrive but hold on. Hold on, please. Life gets better. Life will get better. It has to. Always remember that it is a full circle. Just like a clock which doesn't work shows correct time twice a day, life will make sure your scale is balanced. If you're happy today, be grateful. If you're sad today, be hopeful. It will take time, but you shall become a better and a happier version of yourself. Love yourself. You matter. To me and to this world. This is a rendition inspired by Meggie Royer's poem, 'the morning after I killed myself'.

    Hold On ๐ŸŒป

    We aim at stars, force ourselves to achieve heights even when it isn't necessary, forget to look into the mirror and smile. We worry about things that are beyond our control, fret about feelings we can't escape, love someone else beyond measures but forget our own self. But, when life gets tough and you don't know what to do, I hope you remember you're all that you need, you're all that you have. There's no one who can ace it, no one who can do life better than you. No one. Sending you love and positive vibes. ๐ŸŒป

    Long-lost friend

    There's hope, there's might, there's warmth, and there's light in friendships. We lose fragments of memories we make with our best friends to time and there's no way we can get back the seconds that slip from between our fingers. But there's comfort in knowing that they are ALWAYS going to have your back no matter what. Share this with your closest friends to remind them what it feels like without talking to them or meeting them. Let them know you miss them! ๐ŸŒป

    This is the story of two sisters who never got along well no matter how hard their mother tried. So much so that even when regret filled their hearts and their mother's coffin, they couldn't let go of their hatred.
