pretty special
very unique, superbly written. a one of a kind deep dive of the most intimate nature. well produced, well narrated and well scored with original music. i know who the guy is who makes this podcast — he was at Rolling Stone for a long time and worked closely with HST while he was there. knowing that, it all makes sense that this would be a quality piece of journalistic work.
Must listen for deadheads
Great look at Jerry’s last days. Impeccable writing. Hope to have more episodes.
Unvarnished Look At Our Heroes
If you want to hear the good, the bad, and the complicated about your departed heroes this is the podcast for you. Mike Guy relishes the true stories with all their less-than-glamorous details. These are the sorts of tributes we should all wish for when we pass. Riveting!
