Latinitas Animi Causa: Latin for Fun

Series quam optima sermonum latinorum! Eam equidem omnibus commendaverim qui linguam latinam discere vel melius novisse velint.

This is a phenomenal podcast, and I recommend it to everyone learning Latin. I have listened through three times at various stages of comprehension. I can now listen passively while doing other things, as if it were my native language, with good overall comprehension. When I first discovered the podcast about 18 months ago, I could barely make out the topic of conversation. So if you are just starting out, don't get discouraged, keep listening! And also check out Rem Tene. I think we are in one of the better times to be learning Latin. We have new resources and content emerging daily. Latinitas Animi Causa is one of the major reasons for this.

I love this podcast and wait impatiently for new episodes! It’s a fun and entertaining way to practice Latin listening. Andreas, Clara, and Ilsa are skilled speakers and hearing them chat is great exposure to more complex syntax. I also love the chatty nature of the conversations, when there’s interrupting and laughter—again, a really fun way to exercise my Latin muscles!!!

I can just feel the authentic, casual, conversational idiom racing along my neural pathways! This kind of input is so hard to find at my level - Gratias vobis ago!!! Mox, fortasse ego latine iocer :-)
