I listen to sort out the facts from “just accept it because we someone wrote/said it.” What some commenters don’t understand is that in science if there is a way to disprove an hypothesis, the hypothesis fails. The same applies to historical “facts.” If one word or fact in a historical account is proven false, impossible, or clearly anachronistic, the account is unusable. And this applies equally to all religions. I am far from an atheist, but these discussions reveal that all religions have been twisted to support biases, cultures, politics, and contemporaneous narratives.To the creators, please don’t shy away from the presentation of the facts because of the acts of violence among many in our society. We need truth no more than ever.
