These guys are far more open minded, down to earth and friendly than most LCMS in the online space. They are a good model to follow

Tim and Jack aren’t afraid to ask the tough questions or tackle the elephant in the room. Conversation like these need to be the norm and not the outlier. In the LCMS, there are a lot of thoughts, ideas, and issues that don’t get fully explored for myriad reasons. The hosts make their best efforts to do them in the most Godly way they can. This podcast is a treasure and not an echo chamber. Keep up the good work, men!

Thank you for reaching out to confront some of these issues. We need to bring some things kicking and screaming into the light. It is time for the beautiful message of the gospel to go forward into the world unhindered.

Good people doing their best to host meaningful and important conversations about the Christian life and Lutheran theology. For those who want to poke holes in the pod or their hosts, it is very clear they will specifically invite people who disagree with them to not only talk to them, but have entire episodes with them! Even if you disagree with them (as I do sometimes) they are rightfully demonstrating Christian leadership in this way, and it is to be admired. FWIW I am often described as “traditional, liturgical confessional” etc. but I find their perspective to be profoundly valuable. These are good Lutheran men, genuinely trying to bring people to the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, and this pod is worth a listen. Very nice side dish to Issues etc imo
