203: Unlocking Different Types of Rest: A Journey to Renewal and Balance

203: Unlocking Different Types of Rest: A Journey to Renewal and Balance

Rest Isn't Earned; It's Necessary. You know, I stumbled upon a beautiful quote that resonated deeply with me: "You don't need to earn your rest. You are a human being. Rest is required. Whether you feel guilty about the rest is optional." It struck me—rest is not a reward for productivity; it's a fundamental need, just like air and water. We are not defined by the tasks we accomplish, but by the kindness and love we carry within. It's easy to fall into the trap of equating our worth with what we do. But the truth is, your actions are distinct from your innate goodness. They don't define you. You are already infinitely good. We often try to outrun our to-do lists, thinking that once we complete them all, we'll find peace. But the list is never truly "done." It's like chasing the horizon; you'll never catch it. Give Yourself Permission to Rest!

Today we'll talk about 6 different types of rest and how choosing the right type of rest is so key to help you recharge.
