This podcast is great. For absolute beginners, I recommend the JapanesePod101 videos on YouTube. Really helps boost learning skills, and is very helpful.

Great for People Who Have Some Understanding of Japanese

I have been learning Japanese on Duolingo for about a 3/4 of a year and I can say sentences such as お元気ですか or 平日はパーティーを行きます and using this podcast to help reinforce some of the words I have learned has really helped. If you only listen to this podcast and aren’t doing any other means of practicing it is not going to help you.
