Great Learning Speed
Jim and May talk at a very good pace. Not too fast and not too slow. They speak clearly and share interesting stories about their lives. The transcripts are also very helpful to read along with!
Favorite Spanish podcast
The show is interesting, Jim and May are enjoyable to listen to and just seem like nice people. The Spanish is slow enough to be accessible and yet not so slow as to feel unnatural.
Accessible for the beginning intermediate
Like most people have commented, the show is just right, in both speed and vocabulary, for intermediates who still need things to be a bit slower and clearer. Many shows that I have looked at are just too fast with words mumbled together in a rapid fire heap. Hopefully, someday I will be able to decipher this type of Spanish, as it seems like this is the way most Spanish speakers converse. But for now, these guys are just right.
