    Welcome back to Learning Curves! I'm excited to share episode 2 of season 5! This week I sat with Havilah Vangroll, the founder and CEO of HAVe Strategy Consulting. Havilah is an expert in all things related to people processes, which isn't just a fancy way of saying HR. Havilah specifically focuses on improving company culture, revenue, and perception by helping business owners build their employees up, to create what she calls "raving fan employees".     Time To Face The Changes - Embracing Change and Learning To Let Go With Anne Bonney | S5E1

    Hello and Welcome Back To Learning Curves! We're very excited to present season 5 of Learning Curves! This season we have a roster of unique and high profile guests for you with knowledge and insights into all areas of life and business. We decided to kick the season off with an episode that is ultra-relevant currently, learning to embrace change and letting go of the discomfort that comes with it, with guest Anne Bonney. Anne is a keynote speaker known for helping entrepreneurs and business owners learn to let go and embrace new business ventures and changes within their business. Since the pandemic started in 2020, we have all had to adjust to "The New World", and it hasn't been easy for anyone. The way we work, socialize, and even relax has changed, for better and for worse. I hope this episode can give you all some tips and insights on how we can accept the changes in our lives and look at the positive sides of these changes! As Anne likes to say "Change is the only constant". After moving 27 times, attending 13 different school from K-Masters, living on 4 continents, and having 6 distinct and successful careers, change has become her comfort zone, and embracing the discomfort that comes with it has helped Anne lead a fun and fulfilling life. Anne has studied the anatomy of habit and change, and our reactions to change, and she thrives on igniting people’s courage to deal more effectively with change, because as Heraclitus said, “Change is the only constant in life.” So we might as well get good at it.     Animal Communication Beyond The Grave with Psychic Medium Shannon Spring | S4E10

This week I sat with animal communicator and psychic medium Shannon Spring.     How 2 Muralists Are Inspiring Hope In Ft. Myers | Hurricane Ian's Legacy: 10 Months Later | S4E6

    Welcome Back To Learning Curves!As many of you may know; my husband Chris is a Ft. Myers native. Last September, Ft. Myers and surrounding areas were devastated by Hurricane Ian, one of the largest hurricanes to hit Florida in the last century. So many lives were effected by this storm with people losing their homes, businesses, and tragically, their lives. Chris and his family lost their family business, "Times Square"; home to a surf shop his Dad started, to the storm, and it has made the past year difficult. Shortly after the storm Chris became an advocate for the home-owners and business owners of Ft. Myers beach to help begin the process of re-building their legacy. It's been a tough road but it is looking brighter each day for the people of Ft. Myers. The only part of the Times Square property to stay standing was the elevator shaft, which has become a symbol of the resilience and fighting spirit of the citizens of Ft. Myers. To commemorate "The Shaft" Chris decided to contact 2 local muralist who were also effected by the storm, Summer Desalvo & Lacy McClary, to see if they would be willing to paint a mural on the structure to brighten the spirits of the people of Ft. Myers. The mural has now been painted and it looks absolutely gorgeous.
