We’re a family that was ready to leave our comfortable life to find something exciting. We’re traveling the country and quarantining in nature instead of our home.
Joe’s a podcaster and writer (Harper Collins), Christina's an Occupational Therapist who specialized in outdoor recreation, turned play-at-home mom and we are parents to 2 wonderful little girls, Lucia and Laken.

Chaco Canyon, Blowing a Tire, and The Oregon Trail
We hit the road with a lighter camper as we left mom behind in California to surf and hang out with her friends. We went North of Phoenix and stayed in the desert, then headed up to Chaco Canyon. We saw mini donkeys and had a pretty hair raising experience with our tire.

Death Valley, Star Wars, and Something Sort of Bad Happened
We went on a daddy-daughter trip to Death Valley, it's over 200 feet below sea level and it was so hot! Our trail guide shared some interesting facts and we also now know how 'Death Valley' got its name. Before all of this happened though, we went to Darwin Falls and when we left, something bad nearly happened!

We Went to a Llama Farm
We visited a farm and met some goats, llamas, and alpacas. The goats really liked Laken as she was feeding them some straw and we also found out why the llamas have to get sheared. Both Laken and Lucia got new calm down rocks and despite the small space they share in the RV, they get along really well.

Time Away From Family
We have now hit the 6-month mark of being on the road, and we have done very well spending a lot of time together. But now that our family has been in one spot long enough, mom and dad have been able to take some self-care time and take a break from the family.

We Went To Lake Arrowhead
The family visited Lake Arrowhead in California and also spent a day at Big Bear Lake which is about a 2-hour drive from where we currently are. We went on coaster rides and went tubing, and it was SO MUCH FUN!
