    Leeway: An introduction to the contemplation of sail-powered watercraft in human history

    This is the first episode in a series of audio essays on maritime technological history. For now, these will all be written and recorded by me; in the future, perhaps I will expand it to conversations with others. This episode introduces the huge topic of the history of sail power in human history by starting simple and sticking to key concepts tied to our general shared experience of everyday life.
