Join us every other week as we convene the 'video game book club.' Each episode is structured around a topic: anything from 'Trust' to 'Robots' to 'Body Parts'. Listen in as your hosts each bring a game to the table that they think exemplifies that topic in some way. Give us a shot and remember, games are just metaphors.

Overworld
It's time to conclude our miniseries on environments! Close your eyes and imagine an overworld. What does it look like? What does it sounds like? Now open your eyes. As you can see, this episode looks nothing like what you were just imagining. But that's OK, just don't look too closely at Greg's corner over there.
In this episode: Giovanni becomes a little cat. David listens closely. Tess calls some plays. Greg gets existential.

Space
We continue our miniseries on environments with Space! Some say it's the final frontier. Some say it's an empty void. Some even say it's really just transparent jelly. No matter where you stand on the issue, whether on the side of the fools or the jelly scientists, we talked about it on this episode. Well.....most of us did.
In this episode: David starts hearing things. Tess starts feeling things. Giovanni goes on a trip. Greg is really stretching the dictionary.

Tree
Disclaimer: we don't talk about bark at all in this episode. It's a real failure on our part and for that we'd like to apologize. There are several bits we left out there untouched. We're hopeful we can come back and address things like birch bark and the similarities between the names of the skin of a tree and the sound of a dog. One day...
In this episode: David flies over a terrible sight. Greg punches trees. Giovanni tries to get a bigger picture. Tess wants to make better decisions.

Customer Reviews
a quality podcast!!
If you wanna listen to a funny podcast that makes you re evaluate the meanings of words this is for you! They also sometimes talk about video games. To clarify, I’m coming from the episode “Bowl,” which was lowkey a disappointment, not bc of the lack of video game discussion, but bc I feel like someone should have brought up the weed type of bowl.
Edit: i’m really mad now cause I listened to “Beige” and I want desperately to make a midnight gospel style animation where everything they say that happens actually happens, but I will never have the time or resources to do that.
Fun show about video games that’s for everyone
I’m a pretty casual gamer, but the way these four talk about video games makes it accessible for pretty much anyone. The show is fun and funny, interesting, and thoughtful. Very enjoyable show, highly recommended.
Funny Twist Video Game Podcasts
These guys put a fresh twist on video game podcasts by bringing a topic each week, along with their idiotic senses of humor. Wow... you read reviews and think they sound so fake but then you go to write one and realize this is just how reviews sound when you right them down. Who knew?
Anyway, I look forward to this podcast every two weeks and honestly wIsh it was weekly! If you like it, don’t be afraid to go back to the beginning and get in on some of the running gags. They have layers.
