    In this second Car Ride, Liv and I hit the road again during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. At the time of the recording the power is still out in our town and things are uncomfortable… It’s almost 90 degrees daily and with no a/c the nights are almost as hot as the days.     Liv and Carlton's Car Rides - Episode 1 - Hurricane Helene

    Whassup Peeps!  Liv and I survived Hurricane Helene which hit on Friday September 27, 2024. She hit our small town of McRae-Helena around 2 am EST like she was pissed off! We lost power around the same time and it was finally restored six days later (the following Wednesday night).  We surveyed the damage at 7 am EST that morning and trees were down, buildings were damaged and it looked like a tornado had touched down.  Helene hit land as a category 4 hurricane and by the time she reached us she was still at category 3 strength.  This episode covers our experience within that first 24 hours after the storm.  It was recorded on a road trip from a nearby town called Eastman, Georgia.   Enjoy!
