Insightful. Eloquent. Accessible. Scanlon makes economics and global economic policy make sense and relevant to our lives. Given the madness that has overtaken America, it’s helpful to have a steady voice untarnished by the selfish motivations of too many commentators and carnival barkers who make a living through clicks and hysteria, rather than thoughtful and articulate presentation of what the hell is happening. And it is not all great. And it’s as much an economic power story as anything else. Scanlon cuts through the fog — and there is a lot of fig — with a fresh and refreshing voice.

Reading a script too quickly in a monotone so that she can’t enunciate the words is not a way to gain subscribers. Content, if you can keep up, is pretty good.

The rate at which this is read and the editing that cuts out any dead air is undermining the content. Slow down, give your words and brilliant thoughts time to land with the listener.
